I completely forgot about it and so did my family... oops
If it was an online vote, I'd have voted.
CBA getting out of bed for this IMO.
and yet people continue to have faith in democracy
People have lost their faith in politics and seem to hate politicians, what can we do?
I know! Make more politicians! makes the Lords elected and lets elect some policemen as well.
What the hell is next, electable generals for the army?

Let's elect our doctors!
As part of the police, I still had no idea who any of the candidates were.
Hezzy should have run

Presumably so you couldn't shop them in over any previous convictions :v:
I've been busy for the past month, and this is the first I've heard of this.
I took politics in college and the one thing it taught me was to hate our parasites, I mean 'politicians', even more so than I did before. This is more than likely gonna do more harm than good when some bootlick maggot from one of the parties takes charge. Christ could you imagine if a Liberal Democrat politician was in charge of our entire police force? Or on the opposite side of the coin, if a BNP politician was in charge?
Bugger me, I sure hope it doesn’t end up biting us in the arse.
EDIT: Just so I'm clear and don't confuse anyone; I'm also talking about future elections, not just this one.

Let's elect everyone! Democracy for all, because the public knows how best to run the country, right?
Wrong.
I'm amazed anyone asks the public anything.
I kept hearing on the radio that I'd receive information regarding the election through the post but never did, so I had no idea when the election even was.
I went in to vote but decided to spoil my ballot
Apparently (according to the Daily Mail) it cost the tax payer £14 per vote
I didn't vote because my house never received the leaflet but more importantly, why do I want to vote for someone who may have no policing experience and watch as they're paid tons of money to manage things? The last thing we need is more people getting rich "managing" things, the money is needed in so many other places. This was such a huge waste of time and money.
Democracy for the sake of Democracy is just.. weird.
