Obama declares June "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month" - Polidicks

I don't get these "pride" months. I'm all for LGBT rights and whatnot but what makes these months so different from any other month?

But I'm sure there can be a furry pride month, if you really need it. It needs to be "flaunted" because a lot of people still aren't aware of homosexuality, and how common it is within society. If people are aware of their excistence and how common they are, the chance of acceptance is higher. It's easier to accept something you know excists and wont go away.

In fact, that post reminds me of something I posted here a very long time ago. I have just one question; how do you know that the bible was written by God and not by God? If he really did use the apostles as tools to write the bible, like suggested, doesn't that mean books like "The Purpose Driven Life" should be a part of the bible as well?

It is part of the divine Trinity: God, Son of God, and the Holy Spirit. Those that are faithful are blessed and filled with the Holy Spirit, which acts as a guiding force in life. It guides people to do the right thing, it helps people discern from right and wrong, and it sometimes manifests itself in miracles. God has different plans for everybody, and he may even relieve some faithful people of their problems (diseases, disabilities...homosexuality). This is something that you yourself must go and witness, for I do not have the power to prove something of this grand nature over the internet.
