I'm gay, and proud of who I am. I have no problem devoting time and having festivals as a way of creating a decent degree of solidarity with the rest of the world. What I'm not a fan of it the nature of exhibitionism that seems to go on at a lot of Pride Parades. I dunno. I might be going to the Toronto one so maybe I'll change my mind, but I'm not really too sure.
