I take an interest in politics of other countries
English politics is where it's at.
well don't do that american politics are retarded
Exactly why they are so alluring.
Exactly why they are so alluring.
You'd love british politics.
You'd love british politics.
I'll look into it, but I was told it's the same as Canadian politics with more racism
I'll look into it, but I was told it's the same as Canadian politics with more racism
I don't really know anything about Canadian politics, but it could be similar to the U.K's for obvious reasons. To be honest, recently england's politics have been shit. The good stuff happened years ago.
"We have a deficit, whats the first thing we do?" "Get rid of the teleprompter derp"
Why the fuck. I could do a better job than this.
We don't need to speculate on what he's thinking because we already know. It's a stunt to get attention. The Republicans have been trying to discredit Obama as a public speaker since before he was elected. Don't post something dumb and then go "but I don't care!" as if it absolves you of responsibility for making a bad post. [editline]20th February 2011[/editline] I'm pretty sure that would violate the First Amendment, which guarantees the right to freedom of assembly.
It was just an alternate thinking. I am not using "I don't care" as an excuse. I honestly think the whole thing is pointless. There is no need to complain about the president using a teleprompter. I just posted something to maybe give someone else an idea. And to the guy who said I care too much and don't use common sense blah blah blah. When I say I don't care, I mean about the issue at hand... My long post was directed at a comment that had my comment as a subject. I was responding to a comment, not the issue. Anyways, yeah it is a stupid stunt and should have never been considered news. But welcome to this great country.
I'm sorry Obama, but we're selling the White House to turn it into a mall.
I'm coming to the conclusion the government doesn't actually do anything except make a really shitty soap opera. So much drama and backstabbing.
There's no baby involved so it's not a soap.
Not till next season when someone knocks up michelle obama.
Not till next season when someone knocks up michelle obama.
or sarah palin
or sarah palin
way past late
I voted for Obama You can all thank me for saving you from the Republicans later.
I like how people say "OMG OBAMA NUT DUING ANYTING HUNNGH", especially considering that to DO something, you need a law passed by the GOP house majority to get it done. Since republicans decide to oppose every single aspect of democrats (perhaps even democracy, on a broad scale), that's right out the window. "BUT WATE HE CAN PRUPOZ LAWS" You can't propose a law when you fuck up every half-second (since you have no teleprompter due to Republican penny-saving). Even if the law gets proposed, the GOP majority wouldn't let it become law anyways. As for political parties, saying that taking official parties away limits the freedom of assembly is like saying that not being allowed to read a bible quote texted to you while driving limits freedom of religion. Hint: Its related to certain states' texting-while-driving laws. The thing that makes political parties bad though, is that once you join a party, you simply cannot vote against legislation your party tries to pass. If you do, it ruins your chances of being re-elected, considering that the party you brand yourself with is a big financial contributor to your campaign for re-election. I'm not saying to abolish political parties all together, but politicians should be encouraged to vote for what they think, not what their party thinks. Parties shouldn't be allowed to refuse to financially support their members on a grudge, either.
You gotta get people to keep their party affiliations more private.
