Before anyone thinks this is out of the ordinary, I know some canadians here on a work visa, if they are arrested for pretty much anything relating to drugs/alcohol they will be deported.

I will wear it on my uniform proudly
I don't see why people are complaining about this petition. Any ordinary person would have been thrown out of the country by now.
Drinking and driving is a serious thing and has killed a lot of people. That makes his actions a danger to society, yet does he get the same treatment as others who break the law? Does he get thrown out like anyone else on a visa here?
So what exactly is wrong with making a petition to revoke a visa to a person who is a potential danger to society?
Yeah the people I know, have a family. If one of their kids goes out and gets drunk and gets arrested, the whole family can be deported. You can have to really careful while you're here on a visa, and justin wasn't.

While you are correct that deporting people that cause issues for society is a reasonable thing to do. It just feels like people sign these petitions out of their bias childish hate for Justin, not because they're actually concerned about the nuisance he is causing.
Then don't let your fucking children go to their friends house and use a computer. Log onto their facebook and shut the account down, change the password on their itunes account, disconnect their xboxes from the internet and change the password on the Wifi. It is not hard to deprive a child from internet access.
I mean come on, parenting isn't easy and it isn't supposed to be. Raising another human to be a socially acceptable and socially productive adult is not an easy task. You can't get lazy and just shrug your shoulders because it's hard to raise your little shit.
maybe this would be possible 10 years ago but unless you are literally going to put your kid on 100% lockdown he can still see the internet at school, or from a friend at school, or from a friends house, or, hell just meeting a friend on the site of the road for a minute. I'm not a parent but I can see it being a lot of work to stop your kid looking at the damn internet.
and I'm saying this now. think in another 10 years when you can probably use there is (?) computers on the side of every public building or some shit.
Someone bump this thread again when the white house responds (if they do)
Yeah I'd be an awful parent for not letting my kid get affected by influences that I deem would be bad for them. I'd feel bad for my kid, growing up unable to look up to drug addicts and play video games meant for adults when he's 8 years old.
I'm a parent over 30. I grew up in a time when the internet wasn't a factor. As such, I see nothing wrong with restricting/removing your kid's internet access. People calling you an awful parent is WAY overkill. My generation got along just fine without being online, or having cellphones.

Well we do statistically have the highest suicide rate. That's about it.
People still think that we the people actually gives them a voice?
and yet again; the white house will most likely answer in a way that requires no further action. I personally find it hilarious this went as far as it did.
Pretty much all petitions have been that way once they got their required signatures, I've not heard of a single petition making any head-way after getting the signatures needed. It's always "We want X!" to which they respond "Yeah well we could do X but we can't so sorry lol".

I think he's proven himself to be enough of a cunt that, at this point, the hate isn't really childish.

I'm sure there are a variety of reasons why different individuals signed the petition. Some out of blind hate, some out of concern, some seeing him as a legitimate person to deport.
But there's no list of reasons why people signed the petition so assuming that most, if not all did out of bias childish hate is pure conjecture.
anything to do with this guy is such a waste of time, i'm actively wasting my life typing this even
