There's going to be a live-action Hollywood Naruto movie

i for one enjoyed the story progression from the main characters starting at helpless to kids to practically becoming gods. albeit it took 10+ years for them to animate it but at least the end of the series had closure.
that being said, live action won't work. not even in the first stages of the story
Why reply? why does anyone reply, jesus christ the mods on this website have insane standards.
Im probably getting banned for this comment, but I dont really care anymore since I've seen so many people banned for totally ambigous reasons that I've almost
gotten a distaste for contributing to the forum.
Also, i can still read stuff without being logged in so whatever.
U mods are crazy, relax a bit will you!
"Why reply" bans are, basically, another way of saying "your post did not contribute to the thread at all, go sit in the corner". It's reserved mostly to posts that simply do not have any value.
People who get banned for "Why reply" typically did one of the following:
-Saying something akin to "who cares" and only "who cares"
-Posting epic zingers and/or memes like the guy you mentioned
-Flaming

You forgot troll bait. And that post was bait as well
As for the movie, they will either adapt stuff from the start to the first major arc or fail horribly.
They will almost definitely fail horribly.
$20 the Japanese could pull off a live action movie, but that's because their film making and acting style is WAY different and I'm not saying it's better than here, but they can crank something out that isn't immediately a farce. Think Bollywood but with 15% of a more serious attempt put into the budget.
Seeing what they can do with the low tier budget and relatively unknown actors that kamen rider gets, yeah they probably could.
Has Michael Gracey directed anything good?
Uh, no.

Exactly. It is obviously low budget and it's bad but it's the good kind of bad where it's just tacky enough everything sticks together and just works.
AS opposed to western low budget where you throw money, actors and CGI to fill the gaps and it does not matter if your scriptwriter won an Oscar, it's the BAD kind of bad.
tbh is naruto even that bad in reality?
like, I know its a lot of cheesy bull shit, but even then, is that a BAD thing?
Naruto was fine. Part 1 with him as a kid were good imo. Part 2 with him as a teen was okay, but once it hit Killer Bee arc the plot went batshit insane. I know insane plots can work to its advantage ie Pacific Rim, but for something like Naruto? We went from "Outcast orphan finding a place in the world" to "Total Ninja War". It went on for 400 chapters!!
I'm just glad that the original story ended on what was to many fans a "okay" note, and needed one last film to get character development in and made sure everyone have their cheesy "Happily Ever After" endings.
I hope it has a romance scene
