THey started switching out the cast as early as the second season, and by the end of the fourth season the last remaining original member left. After In Space they just got a new cast each season, and didn't have multi season storylines. Super Sentai just had a new universe each season from the start.

They've already tried that twice and it's failed both times. Saban recently trademarked "Power Rider" though, so we'll see. For some reason people at the time thought it would be Decade (because of the Shinkenger crossover mostly) but I don't really see why. Personally I think Fourze could be localized pretty successfully, and so could Kabuto, but while I love W I could see them thinking that the 2 in 1 mechanic would be too 'gay'
