I'd rather get a Nissan GT-R but that's just me. I could totally have a tesla as a daily driver though. Just not as a fun car.
They're pretty intense.
The Model S can have from 300 to 420 horse power depending on the package you get. I priced out what one would cost with everything I wanted. I need to get a job that gives me the ability to pay $1300 a month for a car. Worth it? Yes.

Teslas are a bit heavy and to be honest, I find the fact that they have no gears and no engine sound dull. Part of the enjoyment is the soundtrack. That's why I'd use them as a sporty daily driver and use an ICE for fun. [editline]10th November 2013[/editline]
Are you kidding? The Tesla Roadster is fucking beautiful!
It does look nice but I like muh gears and muh vroom vroom in a leisure car. A Nissan GT-R isn't even the best example, I'd love a TVR Sagaris because it's very raw and has no traction control or electronic stability control, so no computers standing between car and driver. That's the sort of thing I like. Unfortunately, TVRs are only sold in the UK.
