I'm from quebec, and that's a law that has more than 2 century, when a governor tryed to change quebec laguage to english. They made a law about it, but now it's official. It's called the 101 law. It says that every product or shop signs must at least have 1 french inscription on it.

I understand the fact that it's not O.K. that there was no french writing on it, but really, 500$.

I'm french canadian and I still think this is over-the-top.

And don't expect Quebec being english soon, the english final exam at high-school are pretty much this: A 225 words text, 2 hours, no draft needed.

Seriously, I attempted this text one year early and I got an A.
