The GE70 runs very hot and is 17", on top of being a dual core. The Razer ironed out its heat issues by revision 2, runs a quad core and is 14".

A better comparison would be the NP7330 / derivatives, which while having certain issues has similar hardware to the Razer at that price.

I'm just thinking like width of the actual laptop. I just want something that my friends can play l4d or payday2 or some casual shit on when they're over or something I can bring to friends' house and play casual shit on. Only other thing that I could find was the lenovo 510p. I'm only looking to spend around $1000.
