Israel is getting mad? Worried, I am not.
Good, because they probably don't give a fuck and if you read the article, numerous other countries have already done it and not a single fuck was given then. The only thing they would really be worried about is other countries declaring them a state without any of the actual issues they have being sorted out.
That's because no one ITN is actually an anti-semite, they're anti-Israel. And people who bash Christianity often have a clear and logic argument.
bash christianity you're automatically a logical thinker bash judaism you're automatically an anti semite asshole Did I get it right?
bash christianity you're automatically a logical thinker bash judaism you're automatically an anti semite asshole Did I get it right?
This is a retarded argument and you are even worse. No-one bashes Judaism because no-one cares about Judaism. Christianity is bashed frequently for the stupid things it does and the arguments against it have to be at least logical and not hate speech. For fucks sake, this was about RayDark's delusion that people got banned for anti-semitism and not Islamophobia. That was proven wrong completely. Enough of this shit.

Also, why are you getting so angsty over what I said? Please don't turn into Starpluck whereby you declare a crusade every time someone says even the tiniest thing that might conflict with your views.

This isn't about people conflicting with my views, it is about people not even understanding what is going on and spewing shit because of something which was based on a misconception. If you actually read the article, what other than the title made you think they would be upset about it given the circumstance?

If you actually read the article, what other than the title made you think they would be upset about it given the circumstance?
Firstly, if I choose to make an off-hand, snide comment rather than a full blown argument over something, that is my choice. I shouldn't have to express my views in every single post I make as an essay. Secondly: "Ecuador last week became the latest of a series of Latin American countries – including Brazil and Argentina – to confer recognition of a Palestinian state within the borders that existed before the 1967 Six Day War. Israel regards such moves – which themselves have little practical significance – as helping to delude the Palestinian leadership into thinking it may be able to achieve a state without direct negotiations. The British Government has no intention of following the Latin American example. Its upgrade to the Palestinian diplomatic presence comes after similar moves by France, Spain and Portugal since the summer. In July, the US upgraded the status of the Palestinian representation in Washington – though only up to "general delegation" level, which has long prevailed in most European countries, including Britain. Although Israel did not formally protest any of these moves, it reacted sharply to the more recent decision of Norway to upgrade the Palestinian representative in Oslo earlier this month. The Norwegian chargé d'affairs was summoned for a "conversation" at the Foreign Ministry, despite making it clear that the move did not constitute recognition of a Palestinian state." Read between the lines and apply common sense. No, nowhere does it directly state that Israel is annoyed with the UK, but considering that Ecuador pissed Israel off by recognising Palestine I think it is safe to assume that, given that the UK has not also done as such, but has not fallen far short of it, Israel does not consider the UK to be its best buddy. Additionally, the Norwegian chargé d'affairs was summon as a result of Norway doing the exact same thing. Just because no-one was summoned from the UK does not necessary mean that Israel is any less displeased. Unless you really want to argue that Israel is happy or, at the very least, indifferent over all this - especially given that the UK is one of its closer allies?
And I don't get it, who heads the mission? Fatah or Hamas?
•Hamas has more power, Fatah sounds like a good party, but in reality they're quite corrupt. •Fatah is socialist and secular. •Hamas has some Islamists, but no true official political ideology; the party has a good deal of leftists and rightists. •Political parties in Palestine have virtually no power. •Fatah and Hamas currently are in a war. •Fatah usually doesn't fight in conflicts. •Hamas as a political party is fine, they're not corrupt, but their military is stometimes bad. •Most of the things Hamas' brigades do can be justified (i.e. the defense of Gaza) - they were formed in need of Palestinian defense. •Hamas has power in Gaza, Fatah has power in West Bank (Ramallah, etc). More people live in the Gaza strip, so that's why Hamas has more power.
•Hamas has power in Gaza, Fatah has power in West Bank (Ramallah, etc). More people live in the Gaza strip, so that's why Hamas has more power.
Umm, no? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_the_Palestinian_territories#Overview West Bank - 2,461,267 East Jerusalem - 177,000 Gaza Strip - 1,551,859 I find myself correcting so many people lately about the silliest things.
Gonna repost this:
http://www.amnesty.org/en/region/israel-occupied-territories/report-2009 2009 human rights report compiled by Amnesty International detailing human rights violations against Israeli Arabs. Such fun, totally justifiable things include: - Basic aid from respectable organizations such as the UN being denied to citizens of the Gaza Strip, further compounding issues caused by constant warfare. - Over 450 unarmed Palestinian civilians killed, including 70 children - Holding scores of civilians, including children, in prison without charge. - General impunity for crimes committed against Palestinians. - Destruction of Palestinian homes. Yes, they did not have permits, but permits were systematically denied to Palestinians. - Many prisoners were held for refusing to serve in the military due to their human rights track record.
Israel constantly violates the human rights of whomever it pleases.
All wars have civilian casualties, and the fact that the Palestinians prefers to hide in peoples homes pretty much renders Israelis bombing tactics useless. We saw the exact same thing during the Korean war and the Vietnam war. Napalm strikes killed unarmed people, children too, with a similar ratio to actual axis kills as in the Israeli/Palestinian war.
Um no. That's giving Israel a false sense of credit for something the Palestinian leadership did alone. Israel never trained Palestinan forces and saying they did would be undoubtedly ludicrous.
Dude they totally did. Trial by fire.
It's called the JIDF Jewish Internet Defense Force.
About right :)
I think Israel and Palestine should be unified.
It's called the JIDF Jewish Internet Defense Force.
I'm quite sure BurnThemDown(or whatever her stupid name was) was at one point one of them, but then she got fired because of fucking stupid his arguments eventually turned into, same as Devodiere's. Israel can get fucked, Palestina deserves recognition and help.
I think Israel and Palestine should be unified.
Good luck with that. Too many bigots on both sides.
Use genocide As an excuse to commit genocide
Don't talk shit about a country where you have never lived should be a policy in every person's book. Woops i forgot this is Facepunch, trolling is the #1 rule
Right, we need to live in Israel to know what war crimes and flagrant human rights violations they are committing. Get out.
No, you :frog:. If you haven't seen the crap that is going on in there for your own eyes, you wont truly know what the hell happened. I lived there for 9 years and the shit i've seen is nothing compared to what your little trolling mind can comprehend by reading and looking at google.
No, you :frog:. If you haven't seen the crap that is going on in there for your own eyes, you wont truly know what the hell happened. Seriously? Again, you don't need to live in Israel to know their consistent abuse of human rights and war crimes. You're disregarding factual anti-Israeli arguments on the flawed basis that since they don't live there, they must be lying. You're simply trying to state that anecdotal claims are more valuable then evidence. You need to rethink your debating methods.
I think Israel and Palestine should be unified.
Yea i see it now. Israelistine
No, you :frog:. If you haven't seen the crap that is going on in there for your own eyes, you wont truly know what the hell happened. I lived there for 9 years and the shit i've seen is nothing compared to what your little trolling mind can comprehend by reading and looking at google.
This is a ridiculous argument. You are suggesting that no-one other than a countries own residents should be able to criticize it's actions? We should not be able to look at Somalia, Ivory Coast or Zimbabwe and note that something is wrong there unless we actually happen to live there? This argument is made even more ridiculous by the fact that the citizens of many countries which often commit human rights abuses would have far less of an idea about what is going on than outsiders would, due to biased news, censorship etc. I suppose no-one other than the few who have escaped over the North Korean border should have any opinion on North Korea either, never having lived there... I form my opinion about a country based on reliable news sources: i.e. first hand accounts of people who HAVE lived there, worked there, been stationed there etc.
Good luck with that. Too many bigots on both sides.
Different cultures very often conflict with each other. People should stop giving a fuck about their inherited culture, traditions and religion and make a rational culture from scratch, then people would naturally want to unify.
