What? Right, well...to the first part of your post, I can say I've been to Salt Lake City and met a whole host of Mormons, and the modern Mormon is no different from your modern average American. They're nice, they're informal, they don't dress funny, they have varying interests, and they don't bring up religion just to bring up religion. To know that the majority of Salt Lake City citizens they talk to are Mormon, someone not from the city would have to ask.
