The only sad thing in all this is that contrary to a lot of people in his situation, he won't change his mind about the health care reform. I personally know someone who was living in the united states since a while and always trusted a lot the pre-reform system, until he got really sick and hat to get back to France to get proper treatments. It was three years ago and now he's still stuck in France because he had to waste all his money on the travel.
