I loled at Kim Jong mentally Il
And now his fat son who is probably worse than him comes to power. Great.
Fucking fatties. On another note.. Come on Facepunch we can make jokes about crying and being miserable to the point of sickness but we've got to band together and hope for the best for these people. I saw videos of children sobbing and old women rolling around. It made me really feel like shit because these people have decades of indoctrination shat onto their minds and they don't know any better because their tv gets 2 channels, there's no source of outside information, and if you risk finding any its to the labor camp for 50 years.
I thought dictatorship was a bad thing This thread has confused me so much
NK needs to get their shit together and take on the direction South Korea went on with, hopefully even making it Korea once more. I enjoyed laughing at the Kim Jung jokes and I will keep laughing at them. His death doesn't mean anything to me anyway. I'm just curious as to what they're gonna do now, with their nuclear threats 'n shit.
I highly doubt it will never be Korea again. If it is, millions of people are going to have to die for it. I respect you for having such hope but re-unification isn't going to happen by them waking up feeling bad about all of it. Millions upon millions of people will have to die for it. They're nuclear, they've been indoctrinating for decades and they've got the 5th largest military in the world. The Kim family want Korea under their rule, with their ideology. Totalitarian Stalinist Dictatorship. Watch what we want you to watch, love who we want you to love, think what we want you to think. I don't even think the new leader would be able to re-unite under sane terms. He studied abroad and knows the outside world but imo the military there would shoot him before they allowed that shit. He's only been seen publicly a few times in NK. But shit, I'm no foreign policy buff who knows what could happen. That's what sucks about this planet. A lot of bullshit goes on. Terrible things.
Hate to break the bandwagon but don't act so surprised that he's dead. He was bound to die eventually, it's what we all do.
nobody's surprised that he turned out to be mortal they're surprised that he happened to die now of all times its perfectly reasonable
Recent reports by amnesty international report that all possible political oponents to Un have already been eliminated.
What a twist! Wait, this is unexpected. I did hear a co-worker talking about it but then talking about something about a local also dying and thought it was a lie. Does this mean best korea is now "worst" korea?
no north korea is now sad korea
Farewell, inventor of the hamburger.
Hey... Thats not nice. Here is a picture of me.
Can I have that penguin hat. It's godly.
Not sure if it was already posted, but here is Kim Il Sung's funeral, and damn were they upset then. It's always a shame to lose someone, but knowing how may people are sent to labor camps in NK, I am a bit beyond caring...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Korea Heh, what's with the duplicate images to the right? Scroll down a bit. Nevermind, someone removed the vandalism. This was on the NK page: Annnnnd that's been removed too. Oh well.
They actually played "I'm so Ronrey" over my school's intercom today :v:
http://www.facepunch.com/members/333952-Kim_Jong_il pay your respects.
It looks as if he wants to kill me.
More like eat you.
I thought dictatorship was a bad thing This thread has confused me so much
Technically a benevolent dictator would be a great form of government Too bad it'll never happen
Probably already been posted but this guy had some pretty zany antics Kim Jong-Il Hates Short People
For a guy who stood something like four foot nothing, Kim Jong-Il really had a hate on for short people. The Dear Leader would typically wear four inch platform shoes when he ventured out in public. When he decided to do something about the tiniest members of his society, he did it in typically insane Kim fashion - by distributing pamphlets claiming to have invented a "wonder drug" that would make short people grow. When interested shorties showed up to try the drug, Kim had the military police ship them off to prison camps.
And that wasn't even the best one http://www.ugo.com/web-culture/kim-jong-ils-weird-moments

Also I thought the film makers thing was a joke the first time I heard it.
More like eat you.
No this is what someone looks like when they want to eat you:
Now, what will happen to them?
They'll think back to the good times, hopefully, when they had massive dance party in Pyongyang Square.
Another one Kim Jong-Il Can't Wait To Eat Rabbits
Famine is one of North Korea's biggest problems - literally almost all of the population is in the process of slowly starving to death. So when Kim Jong-Il heard of a German farmer who had bred giant rabbits, he quickly got in touch with him to buy a dozen to set up a breeding plan and feed the people. After the rabbits arrived, the breeder didn't hear anything from the DPRK for six months. Eventually he got a call to tell him that the breeding program was cancelled because Kim Jong-Il got impatient and ate all twelve giant rabbits for his birthday.
Its like a comedy show except he didn't get in big trouble and got slap stick punishment.
I still remember seeing the parody of him in Team America. The reaction to this news is incredible. So many people I know "Who?". I can't believe this came out of nowhere.
With all these dicators being killed in the same year, how the last US convoy just stepped out of Iraq and sudden mass murders/terrorists in Europe one year before 2012 makes me wonder. I don't believe in this "2012 end of the world" crap, but you never know what the government can pull off.
Thanks to the death of the glorious leader of mother korea we are out of school at 12:00 instead of 16:30
Technically a benevolent dictator would be a great form of government Too bad it'll never happen
It already has happened?
It already has happened?
When? Ancient Rome?
When? Ancient Rome?
With Ataturk although admittedly he did end up turning Turkey into a democracy so I'm not sure how much it counts
