That's really fucking weird, because I changed my Steam avatar to him like a day ago
Could you change it to Justin Bieber or Ray William Johnson.
EDIT:
I know a couple of people IRL that are assholes.
Now I can't wait for the reunification process. Should I expect a communist or a democratic government?
I just thought of something...WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO HIS WORLS LARGEST PORN COLLECTION?
His fatass son will beat off to it.
I'm glad he's dead.
The people in North Korea are probably taking it really really hard. I saw footage of when the last 'Great Leader' Kim Il-sung died, and they were flipping shit.
Perhaps not. Kim Il-Sung was truly loved by the north korean people. Kim jong-Il never lived up to his father's name and respect
Time to move to Canada.
I can honestly say that I did not see this coming at all.
South Korea's military is officially on alert as of Dec. 18th according to sources.
Fudge.
So that's it, he's gone. Maybe North Korea will actually be able to be free now?
No.. they have drank too much cool aid
Perhaps not. Kim Il-Sung was truly loved by the north korean people. Kim jong-Il never lived up to his father's name and respect
I suppose, but they're trained to love him. They'll be flipping shit, even if it's less so than last time.
I'm assuming his son is going to take the lead?
Whoops, I was doing 'things' while this was posted.
Won't this be quite the story to tell some years down the road!
Perhaps not. Kim Il-Sung was truly loved by the north korean people. Kim jong-Il never lived up to his father's name and respect
True... but still

Wow- I.. I was shocked when I saw the headline. I can't believe it-- Kim Jong Il deceased.. I would be lying if I said I didn't admire some of his views. I believe the "He's a blood-thirsty Dictator" talking-point is merely the result of EU/US propaganda. I'm sure the country has much more than what the EU/US tells you. North Korea's people do have a cell-phone network, that being that they can call locally, but not out of the country. Most of what you hear is fear-mongering about North Korea, why are you so surprised that North Korea doesn't like speaking to EU/US?
North Korea has tried negotiating with the U.S/EU before, and the result was a high body-count and sanctions. North Korea knows that trying to speak, or even negotiate with the West & EU is impossible as the U.S/EU is often irrational and is known to mislead its people. Why people are so opposed to unity and sharing is so beyond me. It certainly isn't a paradise, but I refuse to believe it is as bad as the media / U.S makes it out to be.
Now I can't wait for the reunification process. Should I expect a communist or a democratic government?
Neither. DPRK has its own structure, and doesn't care for ridiculous Western Policies or EU propaganda. Kim's son will continue to advance the country as a whole, just where his Father left off. Infact; I wouldn't be surprised if he performs better in his role, as other countries see this as a chance to begin a relationship. He should be careful though..
sweet so like is north koreas ppl rebelling against him cant wait till he gets a taste of arab spring murdering b*tch
No.. Infact; North Korea's people aren't going to "rebel" against anybody because they haven't a need too. The "Arab Spring" isn't spreading to North Korea, as North Korea's people have worked hard to have its current structure. Democracy always results in corrupt bickering, pay-off's and imperialist policies. America is a permanent war economy, without war; America would not be able to sustain itself. You act as if North Korea is invading every country ever, when in reality it is keeping to itself.
I'm assuming his son is going to take the lead?
Kim Jong-woon is his designated successor.
Please, god, let this be the precursor of change in that country. North Korea is exactly how I imagine an Orwellian nightmare world.
Didn't he try to make people believe he was born atop some great mountain and was invincible?
Good night sweet prince!
Oh dear...
Kim Jong-woon is his designated successor.
Wonder what he looks like.
Didn't he try to make people believe he was born atop some great mountain and was invincible?
Wait, you mean that wasn't true?
Wow
Oh lord..
Can we hear your apologist piece on Stalin too?
Please, god, let this be the precursor of change in that country. North Korea is exactly how I imagine an Orwellian nightmare world.
I'm going to post this if anyone missed it back in 2010. Some interesting cables leaked about North Korea's regime, and what may come next.
Didn't he try to make people believe he was born atop some great mountain and was invincible?

Kim Jong-il's official biography states that he was born in a secret military camp on Baekdu Mountain in Japanese Korea on 16 February 1942. Official biographers claim that his birth at Baekdu Mountain was foretold by a swallow, and heralded by the appearance of a double rainbow over the mountain and a new star in the heavens
I don't think people realize that we don't have a goddamn clue what Kim Jong-Un is going to do, all that we really know is that he was Swiss-educated, loved NBA basketball, and packed extra pounds. He could easily be much more open to the West. Although I feel like the chance is there for him to become the military's pushover leader, but it's too early to say.
R.I.P.glorious leader Kim Jong Il, may you thumbs up in heaven.

If there actually was a heaven, he sure as shit wouldn't be there.
