I'm not gonna pirate ubisoft or anything like that, I'm just going to show no interest in it until they change the DRM.
They do, pirates often don't have any "moral" unlike you like to think.
"I only pirate for DRM and to test the game!" :rolleye:
You what?
You're saying that people who pirate games have no morals?
Are you high?
You what?

Often.
And by no morals I mean less of fewer morals, everybody has morals but I think I don't have to write to you like I'd write for a retard who would not realize my message.
Tip of the day: DRM stops costumers, not pirates.
Which is why you don't try to stop the pirates.
They'll find their way around anything eventually, therefore DRM is pointless.
I can safely say somewhere there is a cracked HL2, but I can't say the same for the rest.
Meant to say that people usually don't download them, hl2 is worth the price.
There is a crack for every steam game. It's not hard to crack, but buying makes it worth

That, and constant updates, downloading a couple of MB from servers > Downloading many GB from probably no-one half the time.
The best anti-piracy measure has always been making a decent game, and keeping DRM to a minimum. That is why STEAM is good, you can install anywhere, and only need to be online for the installation
downloading a couple of MB from servers > Downloading many GB from probably no-one half the time.
That made no sense
That made no sense
I think he meant that if you want the updates you'd have to find a new copy of the game and re-download it in it's entirity.
This si why you don't put asshole DRM in place. It only makes pirates more determined to fuck it up.
It just doesn't work because all you need is a few bright people who know how to get around the DRM, and once they figure it out they can share the results with everyone else.
Not even a few bright people. Any idiot with a copy of Daemon Tools Pro can get around it.
Not even a few bright people. Any idiot with a copy of Daemon Tools Pro can get around it.
By a few bright people, he means the actual cracking team.

Wait, why does he take his shirt off just to beat someone?
People pirate because when you pirate the game, you get a better experience.
What happened to the days where you put the disc in, installed the game, took the disc out, and played happily? Didn't have to worry about piracy or cracks or anything. I know some games you install them, enter a key, play the game, shut it down, go to play it, "Please put in CD and click OK", put in the cd, click ok, "Please put in CD and click OK", take CD out, clean, put CD back in, click OK, "Please put in CD and click OK", take CD out, throw CD across room, download No-CD crack, install crack, play happily ever after.

Why not?
You look more badass when you beat someone shirtless.
I GOT THE BEST DRM FOR UBISOFT.
Shut your company down, then bam! No more pirates pirating your new games!
How about no DRM?
Its sad when the Russians provide better customer service then the company that made it.

No, you just look like a stupid fucking faggot.
And not in a gay way.
