The hackers are students from Wuhan and Jiaotong University in Shanghai, and work for the PLA at the cyberwarfare center in Shanghai. CNN got in trouble for photographing the cyber-warfare center.
lol those cops are fast
The schematics for PAC-3, THAAD, F-35, V-22, Aegis missile system, F/A-18, Littoral Combat Ship, and UH-60 all have been breached, although it is unknown to what extent. THAAD. THAAD. THAAD.
Like some have said before, it's a good thing those are old weapon systems. It would literally be useless to replicate them. The schematics would only be useful if they were to build better equipment from the designs.
[IMG_THUMB]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cd/USS_Independence_LCS-2_at_pierce_%28cropped%29.jpg[/IMG_THUMB] So brutalist. So scary.
Littoral Combat Ship is more of a type of ship. There are multiple classes. We have two so far: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Freedom_%28LCS-1%29 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Independence_%28LCS-2%29 They are ships designed to do combat in the littoral zone.
Jokes on them, the F-35 doesn't even work. This is all a ploy to make the chinese copy a broken design so when the US decides to conquer China, they won't have a working airforce
Why dont we put sensitive materials in a computer in an actual box. And you have to open the box with a key when you need it. China can't touch shit.
So China just skipped the expensive and time-consuming research and simply ninja'd blueprints for them. Crafty. [editline]28th May 2013[/editline] Actually every government does that
Everytime I hear of Chinese Student hackers being enlisted by the Chinese govt. I'm reminded of the Closed Shell Child hackers from Ghost in the Shell.
Reminds me of Command & Conquer Generals

I really would like to know the details of this attack. Sounds like the US made some big mistakes...
Funny thing about the J-31 is that it's for export They're trying to sell it to Asian countries interested in the F-35
