Hopefully the people that installed those glass balconies didn't make the same mistakes the people who installed the glass windows in the Hancock Tower did...

I'm not afraid of heights. I'm only afraid of falling from them.

ITT People who are afraid of heights :hehe:
I nearly threw up.
Come and develop vertigo today on our new COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT VIEWING PLATFORM! If the shock doesn't kill you, the drop will!
Jesus what if you trip and land really hard?
Then you'll hurt your face probably.
That little girl is brave, that is just a huge no-no for me... With my luck, I would hold onto the side as I slowly make my way onto it, then the fucking side rail falls.
I'd be shitting cars if I had to step onto that. No not cars.. fucking trucks :v:
What you talkin about Willis Tower?
People say never throw bricks in a glass balconies
I doubt even bricks would do much. The factor of safety these things were built with is pretty large, meaning they're several times stronger than they'll ever need to be. There's probably not much an ordinary human could do to cause any damage, at least not without some serious mechanical assistance.
I happen to have a fear of heights, so going out on that would make me shit bricks.
Then the bricks would break the glass and you would fall to your death. :smug:
ITT People who are afraid of heights :hehe:
I'm pretty sure everyone is afraid of heights. Some people just seem to be able to deal with that fear a bit better. I mean I could stand at the top of a sky scraper on a windy day and look down (I pretty much HAVE done), but that doesn't mean my heart wouldn't be beating at like 4523184071 BPM and I wouldn't be feeling really, really sick or something.
Then the bricks would break the glass and you would fall to your death. :smug:
That has been said at least 3 times already.
Sears tower, added to my list of places to never ever go.
Aw dammit! I was just in Chicago!
This one: Stratosphere Tower. The rides at the top of that thing are absolutely fucking insane.
I went on all three of the rides. Was amazing.
Got a vid of the ride. Keep in mind you are on top of a fucking tower.
THAT is not the scary ride on the Stratosphere. THIS is the scary ride:
Would seem pretty cool to walk on it.
I'd get in it with my friends and jump on it to scare the shit out of them.
I would shit my pants...
Peeping toms beware there are eyes in the sky!
I am cringing right now.
THAT is not the scary ride on the Stratosphere. THIS is the scary ride:
:tinfoil:
