I want to get in an adjescent building, get a rifle, and break the glass.
I have vertigo just looking at it.
As a fat guy, I have an innate sense of where NOT to step.
Not going THERE anytime soon.
I still feel a bit embarrassed inside that I probably wouldn't have the guts to step on that thing, but those kids did :v:
It doesn't seem that bad, when you consider overhangs have been made from thinner, weaker metal materials and they're still completely safe.
I happen to have a fear of heights, so going out on that would make me shit bricks.
What he said. :S But a part of me still wants to try walking on it.
I'm fucking scared already.
Could someone remove the bottom glass, and trick everyone into walking forward?
Could someone remove the bottom glass, and trick everyone into walking forward?
The huge draft coming from it might be a bit of a giveaway.
I'd never walk on that.
They should extend it 100 more feet outwards :)
OR they should TELL PEOPLE that they've extended it 100 more feet outwards, but not actually do it.

Fan Freaking Tastic view of what it's like being up this high. The people below looked like ants and the cars resemble beetles
I'm going there sometime soon, and I'm going to be like "theres a crack!" and freak everyone out. Not really though.

this girl has balls
theoretically of course
Fuck that shit.
Also, one time I was in this aquarium when I was like six, where the walls, ceilings and floors were glass, and the aquarium was all around you.
I FUCKING SHAT BRICKS AS A SHARK SWAM UNDER ME.

Correct term would be 'metaphorically'
Unless you actually have a theory that the girl has balls.
This is crazy...
I have a great idea! Get some rocks and throw them hard at the glass floor.
Ah fuck man. I'm already sick from all the food I ate and now this. Thanks alot :argh:
Glass floor = o_o
I gotta go there.
THAT is not the scary ride on the Stratosphere.
THIS is the scary ride:

Now that's just tempting fate.
This is the one I rode.

Thread is now about rides on top of high buildings rather then the glass balconies.
I've been on quite a few of these although not as high as Sears Tower I think. Still high enough to kill you obviously and once it's past that hieght it doesn't matter how high you are.
Spinnaker Tower - England

Yeah this tower is pathetic compared to others but it still has a glass floor...
Sky Tower - New Zealand

If I were a few years older when I went there I'd have been allowed to Bungee Jump off of it...
Imagine sex in that thing. Exhibitionists, have at it.
That is fucked...
Who wants to play baseball!?
Jesus what if you trip and land really hard?
Do your trips land with 5 tons of force? I don't think there's enough big macs in the world to make you that fat.
