Anyone else hate the idea of platform exclusives? Feels like you're being forced to take sides and robbed of the full experience. Sort of like when Soul Calibur had the Darth Vader and Yoda exclusives.

I was hoping for Phoenix Wright actually, those games are on nintendo consoles and he's a pretty good WTF character.

I'd think he's well known enough, but he'd really be better as an assist trophy than a fighter.

Here's to hoping Bowser Jr. is included. I'd love to see them incorporate him with the paintbrush in Sunshine (I wanted that in Brawl :( ).
I know they'll never make the game Melee again, but I really do miss wavedashing and all that. It gave the game a skill ceiling, but I suppose it's not the same game anymore, especially without being able to use the GCN controller on the Wii U. I do hope they at least remove tripping.

After the inital "huh?" factor I think I'm okay with the Wii Fit trainer. It definitely fits in with R.O.B. (one of my Brawl favorites) and Mr. Game & Watch (one of my Melee favorites) as that weird character from that time Nintendo tried something new to sell consoles.

Personally, I actually think I would've preferred Megaman.EXE, or Zero, but like Neo said: this is a gateway, now that the title character is officially in the series we could start seeing a lot of other Megaman characters becoming playable later, and probably some new Megaman-themed items.
Snake and Sonic need to make their comebacks. Especially Sonic, since Nintendo is now partnered with Sega.
Even if he's not AS recognizable to most, I feel Big Boss would be a cool addition. He's got a lot of stuff in Portable Ops and especially Peace Walker (railgun, riot shield, various boxes, Fulton recovery, ZEKE) that would totally fall within Nintendo's "no guns" boundaries they set for Solid Snake in Brawl.

Still no Simon Fucking Belmont? The one character I would kill for in a SSB game, I know he was an assist trophy, but I want to play as the glorious bastard himself, fighting with the whip would be fun as hell.
I want Lyn. I know there was a recent Fire Emblem game, and if they were going to choose a new FE representative, they would choose from that, but I've wanted her in the game ever since she was announced as an assist trophy.
Nevermind. Screw what I just said, I kind of like her now.
