So he shot up a bunch of teenagers and then fled the scene. Yep, enjoy life in prison, asshole.
Really, what kind of person you should be to shoot a kid for his music being too loud? Sacrifice your whole peaceful life for a moment of anger?
All that comes to my mind is stories about neuro-lenguistic programming and hypnosis.
Would make sense if the guy was programmed to assasinate the kid because somebody needed it. Really, 8 shots, 6 misses and 2 hit the same target?

I bet its the russians

my father lives in florida, and i visit frequently. a friend of the family was picked up and gang raped at gunpoint by a bunch of white hicks, beaten half to death, and dropped off on the highway.
another family friend was in a fast food joint when another (white) nutter shot up the place and injured a bunch of black kids who yelled back at him when he called them niggers. killed one of them.
florida is a fucking awful place, and the stories that you hear about the state are very indicative of the general gun culture of the state. it's not a bunch of bullshit, it's regular, and its ingrained in the culture. guns are really prevalent, and it's not just gang violence anymore. don't get me wrong, that shit is all over the place too, especially in miami and orlando.
[editline]30th November 2012[/editline]
there's signs all over the roads that have been shot up because people find it entertaining to do so.
i'm sorry but the "responsible gun owners" that you guys think about are not the overwhelming majority
at all
most of them (esp in florida) do the absolute dumbest shit imaginable
Not all of Flordia is bad.
I've flown over there to visit my mom over 40 times and I even used to live there for 2 years, nothing bad has ever happened to me.
I don't think I could ever say this with a straight face
I realized I couldn't be a defense lawyer when I read that.
"His side of the story is he felt threatened and that is the reason he took action,"
First it's the loud music, then blam! Dead in a gutter.
How the fuck do you feel threatened by loud music?
loudness equals power
I heard on the news that after lawyering up, his story included the teens being armed with a shotgun. When presented with the fact that the cops searched the teens and the car, the lawyer said "Did they search very hard?"

I've lived in Florida my whole life, and I have to say you're just fear-mongering. You're presenting a personal experience to represent the whole state, which is a HUGE no-no.
There are a lot of rednecks here, but most of them are perfectly fine with black people. I used to go to a public high school and half of it was redneck, the other half black. Everyone was fine with everyone else, nothing ever happened.
Now, I'm talking about southern Florida, and I know for a fact that northern Florida has a much higher redneck count, and that's a whole different animal.
[editline]30th November 2012[/editline]
Even so, in many of my trips to see my grandmother in northern Florida I've never ONCE seen one of these 'shot up road signs' and the majority of the people who I know own guns don't do dumb shit like that.
I'm moving to Tallahassee. I've been warned it is Redneckland over there. :I

And there are people who defend this. Fuck everything

It's not like his lawyer wanted to help with his case.
Maybe the government forced a lawyer to defend him because nobody else wanted to.
i would have shot him to
Jacksonville has tons of people like that guy. Gun toting, god fearing, racial epithet using Americans.
A great example was a shirt that became a fairly popular product(Popular as in I've seen more than a dozen people wearing it) at the local flea market. "Two things every American should know how to use...A GUN and a BIBLE. Neither of which is taught in our schools !" So that should give you a good idea of what kind of people mainly reside here.
i would have shot him to
Well I hope to god you are never given a firearm.
Snapbacks kill. Be warned.
Don't neighbours normally just dislike the song on youtube, if the teens are being too loud?
Oh Wai-
The thing that causes me to not take this shooter's claims seriously is that he complained about people playing loud music in a public place.
The gas station is not your property, you can't tell people how loud they can play their music there. If you don't like it, leave. You have no 'right' to anything there.
If I was on the jury I'd have a hard time believing this is anything other than a case of the shooter starting unnecessary trouble, then escalating it into a murder.
He better hope there is security video, or an independent witness, who'll back up his story.

Comment slike these make me lose my reason and humanity for a bit and just day dream of forced mental reprogramming of these people. I feel more sorry for a mentally ill serial killer who was abused as a child than I do for these kinds of people

Herself. I wonder if they brandished a gun and just got rid of it before the police arrived, or if he just pissed a guy off enough to shoot him. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You don't piss off the older men of Florida, they'll fucking kill your ass (And where normally it's simple assault, it's actually a felony here to hit someone over the age of 65) Even though this guy was just shy of 50 I think. Either way, it's just going to be another excuse to fuck with the conceal carry laws here in Florida because one guy out of the nearly 1 million who carry in this state decided to be a dipshit
If you think about it though, A guy, with his wife, who attended his son's wedding suddenly opening fire on a specific teenager rather than all of them over arguing about loud music seems just as off as him going home after the shooting.
I think they did have a gun in the car and just ditched it before the police arrived myself, time will tell

Or you can stop trying to justify shooting others for no good reason. You have to be a complete psychopath to even think about actually shooting a kid for loud music.
