And yet we're so far ahead of your healthcare system there.
no, we're not. our healthcare kills more people than the third reich. it's a fucking joke.
no, we're not. our healthcare kills more people than the third reich. it's a fucking joke.
What it killed 6 million?
What it killed 6 million?
Every year.
no, we're not. our healthcare kills more people than the third reich. it's a fucking joke.
My Daily Mail reader senses are tingling.
I'm unstable, prone to violent outbursts and shit, I'm narcissistic as fuck and nobody has ever tried to help me. I have to live everyday thinking about weather or not my actions are normal and if they're going to have horrible outcomes, some days I don't think about outcomes and those are the worst days of my life. I've been to a mental health center twice and they deny me because 'I'm not depressed and don't have thoughts of suicide so I MUST BE OKAY RIGHT' I have borderline personality issues and I'm paranoid. I'm not going to point fingers but I grew up with one parent coming out of a drug addiction and one in the midst of a cocaine addiction. Nobody has ever offered to help me, I have days where I legit would like to kill somebody but I don't because I guess I'm still there kind of. I have days where my girlfriend and family hates me because of how angry I am and how awnry I am, and nobody helps me. All I want is a fucking therapist and they turn me down time and time again. There's a lot of things wrong with me that made it almost fucking impossible for me to pass highschool, even though I'm smart as fuck. Nobody has EVER helped me, there are thousands of people out there who are just like me, they just want help. They know they aren't 'right in the head' it's not something you can just fucking discuss it's extremely embarrassing to let somebody know your flaws like that.
Paid US healthcare IS the best. That's where most professional doctors and staff are. But that's only if you got a fuckton of money to shell out.
This is absolutely the most important article about this event. I live with my mom and my brother. My brother acts almost exactly like the kid described in the article. Granted he hasn't pulled a knife on me yet, but he has repeatedly threatened to kill both of us and attempted to strangle me on multiple occasions. He needs help. But we have no idea where to go, honestly. The usual response is to sedate the hell out of people like this and stick them in an asylum somewhere, but that's cruel and unusual; they're largely regular people (if often introverted) except during their violent outbursts. So what's the response? I just don't know. Recently I began insisting that I won't be alone in the house unless I have a car so I can leave if my brother goes on one of his rampages. It's just scary and depressing to have to live with.
Somewhere some guy bought that gun legally. With a ban, there wouldn't be guns that could change hands that easily.
What would be the impact upon jobs and the US economy with a ban upon weapons though, considering the various armaments companies and people employed in ammunition/accessories?
Except it's not just that simple. The gun was available illegally because so many guns are on the street. There are so many guns on street, because they can be obtained legally. Every illegal gun was bought legally the first time or stolen from a legal vendor. It doesn't take a genius to figure out if there were not even any legal vendors, they amount of guns available, even illegally, would drastically decrease. There is also supply and demand. Less guns would be manufactured too. I wish people would actually think about this instead of just making the simplest possible observation 'BANNING THEM MEANS U CAN STILL GET THEM ILLEGALLY'. It's just not thinking about it. At all.
Do you even know the facts of the story? He didn't just find the gun laying in a storm drain it was his mothers; legally owned.
“I can wear these pants,” he said, his tone increasingly belligerent, the black-hole pupils of his eyes swallowing the blue irises. “They are navy blue,” I told him. “Your school’s dress code says black or khaki pants only.” “They told me I could wear these,” he insisted. “You’re a stupid bitch. I can wear whatever pants I want to. This is America. I have rights!” “You can’t wear whatever pants you want to,” I said, my tone affable, reasonable. “And you definitely cannot call me a stupid bitch. You’re grounded from electronics for the rest of the day. Now get in the car, and I will take you to school.”
What pissed him off that much about pants? does he know between right and wrong or is he that arbitrary? why is he angry over stupid simple things over this? It sounds like a bit of both of mental issues along with education, and making sure your kid behave right and not spoil the child too much.

You feel like such a monster when the episode is over, and it makes you so so depressed, it's just as hard on your brother as it is on you. he still loves you man, I know he feels bad about what he does it's just hard to control.

If I had a brother like that I'd want to beat some sense into him for being such a little shit but I'd make a terrible therapist as you can assume

And the actual quality in US is better, like it or not. There's a reason why all rich sick people go to US for treatment.

Increasing awareness of mental illness and actively encouraging the population to keep their guns locked up securely in a safe would be a nice start
That's not what free means... The reason anyone bothers to comment on the whole "free" thing is because you are describing it in a misleading, inaccurate, and dishonest way. It's not free in any aspect whatsoever, and neither is public school education. You are the only one who is manipulating definitions here.
Free at point of use.
