Not all republicans are crazy.
I've seen like two in the last year that have any integrity.
[editline]16th July 2011[/editline]
Exactly. I consider myself republican but absolutely hate almost everything they decide to do in office. They take things way too far and the news only publishes the bad things republicans do so of course they only seem to have a bad rep because NOBODY HEARS ANYTHING DIFFERENT.
You got to remember, news agencies only care if there is war, conflict or death for their stories. Talking about how a republican politician saved a kitten from a tree wouldn't make the news.
Its natural that nobody hears any good things coming from Republicans because the news likes to focus on bad things!
There are many issues with your post - most glaring one is, how do you consider yourself a republican but not actually american.
Was this post faked by them to make us look bad?
I wouldn't be too surprised.
USA fix your shit please. The EU/world economy is already horrid enough, but we're starting to recover. I beg you, please don't let your economy fuck up, cause if you do, well this time it will take a LONG FUCKING TIME for the entire world to recover. It will end up either in a lot of countries being broke or prices going so high and wages so little because of austerity measures that an average person's life would suck ass. Basically it will mean civil unrest in most of the world's countries, and a lot of people dying of hunger.
By the way, America? This was known for a long time.
The fact that republicans are batshit insane is common knowledge in almost every single country on earth, and has been for at least 10 years.
They'll have been mental for ten years exactly in about a month.
They'll have been mental for ten years exactly in about a month.
Longer then that. Newt shut down the government twice. With one time being that he had to sit in the back of a plane since Clinton didn't want to deal with his shit.
Maybe we can keep having money even though we don't have any by loaning!
Edit: Cut military budget to half, modern war doesn't need huge armies because if an all out war would break out, it will be nukes. Your army will still be bigger than anyone elses and you will save shittons of cash.
Just because were Christians doesn't mean were all maniacs.
this isn't about religion, this is about political posturing that could destroy the world's economy
I'm a threat to everyone? :ohdear:
Oh well, I'm just a gamer who sits in his room all day. Crisis averted. :unsmith:
Talk about a slap to the face from your everyday shallow, disgruntled leftist. At least we're not the kind to behave like spoiled pre-schoolers. Try getting some fresh air for a while, will you? It'll really help ya out with regaining some form of healthy, psyhological clarity.
Leftists, commence what you're best at doing: Trolling, babbling, sounding like derelects, and more meaningliess, wishful babbling. Lol. :P

Probably not - China's on the rise. Besides, it's not like current US troop numbers are all powerful, let alone half that strength - Afghanistan is a perfect example.

Yep we leftists are just loudmouthing allright. The financial crisis is just a hoax to install communism into USA.

Then by all means, they should spend more on the military while their own population dies of disease/poverty, ayup!
I recently heard someone on the radio say that other governments in economic crises are pretty stunned at how we manage to politicize the fuck out of everything and accomplish hardly anything, despite the fact that our problems aren't nearly as bad as theirs.
Just read a book about economics by Alan Greenspan. In it, he says John Boehner, the current speaker in the house of representatives in 2002 went out to the public and stated: "The american people don't want smaller government, but more efficant government." He also stated that "The deficit doesn't matter" as this was republican economical policy during the Bush years.
And people call republicans fisically responsible beacause...?

A point with any value was not found, please try again.
Republicans are freaking schizophrenic. During the Bush years, during the mission-heavy iraq and afghanistan war, the deficit rose 500 billion each year. During the 8 years Bush was president, the debt-celling was raised 3 times, each time with full republican support. Then Obama is elected and it comes time to raise it again, and then the republicans call it economical irresponsible of the highest degree to raise the debt celling. This is the very definition of hypocrisy if I ever saw one.
Politicians. What do you expect?
Although to be fair, federal spending went insane after Obama went into office. There's been a graph circulating around Facepunch recently, anyone have links to it?
What happened, republicans? You used to be sane. Abe Lincoln for example.
At least we're not the kind to behave like spoiled pre-schoolers.
Actually, Republicans and Americans in general are the ones behaving like spoiled preschoolers. You've been spoiled your whole lives by low taxes and cheap food and imports. Now with the recession and climate change, reality is starting to bite.
What happened, republicans? You used to be sane. Abe Lincoln for example.
Time is golding the memories :v:
God this thread is so full of truth.
Time is golding the memories :v:
Actually the parties switched ideals a while back, not sure exactly when

What do you expect? Bush held off giving any kind of bailoff until the last minute so he wouldn't be blamed for being the all time worst president ever. He left it to Obama to do that, which in turn added to the deficit, but what did you think? That a 1 trillion dollar bailout wouldn't somehow come back and make the deficit worse? Obama has really done nothing to add to the deficit, yet. He got his "obamacare" through, but it is only to begin in 2013. If anything it is the leftover projects from Bush that has added enourmous problems for Obama, for which you are now blaming him.
Honestly, the Republicans have only been this crazy since the early 90's, before that they were actually fucking respectable.

Not really. Ever hear of Reaganomics?
What happened, republicans? You used to be sane. Abe Lincoln for example.
Lincoln had his flaws. And besides, he was heavily demonized by quite a few people back in his time.
Honestly, the Republicans have only been this crazy since the early 90's, before that they were actually fucking respectable.
Ronald Regan, Richard Nixon, Newt Gingrich, etc etc.
Nixon was a good president, at least he got shit done.
Not at all.
Not at all.
It doesn't matter if you think so. Let me state that he got shit done.
It is better to implement policies without giving a rats ass than to stick to some principles and not do anything.
Odd how he had diplomatic talks with China, despite it being Communist and its idealology was in direct opposition to that of the USA.
