I give it maybe 3 months before he backpedals and says it's real
I give it maybe 3 months before he backpedals and says it's real
"It's a real danger and I've always worked towards combating it. The fact is that there are those who aren't concerned for the future of our children, sad"
I don't think he is stupid enough to genuinely believe that climate change is not real, however I do think he is malicious enough to deny it so that he can get more money
Could someone explain to me what this sentence even tries to say? Because I have no clue what it means. To me it sound like he only had to say something instead of being silent, because in my ears it means nothing.
'It's not something that's so hard and fast' means that he's kinda aware that it exists, but like a lot of people, he thinks that its something that isn't going to affect anyone for thousands of years.
In reality those words mean none of those things and are used in a billion different ways... the best route is to just abandon the system and adopt a new one with very rigid standards.
scientific theory does have a rigid meaning
I will be legitimately surprised if he makes it through his presidency without either being impeached, resigning, or becoming the most unpopular president in US history
He's like a living cartoon. I'd enjoy the schadenfreude of a Trump presidency if his policies weren't likely to drastically reduce my quality of life. I'm a bad person, I know.
Well, with the boasting I've seen from the right about "HA, we've won! YOU lost!" without fully considering the implications of their "victory", it's kinda like a kid who insists on playing with matches. Maybe when they finally burn the god-damned house down they'll have learned something.
I will be legitimately surprised if he makes it through his presidency without either being impeached, resigning, or becoming the most unpopular president in US history
He'll certainly have a hell of a time with approval ratings. Obama's lowest aggregate approval rating was 41% in 2013. The lowest ever was GWB near the end of his second term in 2008, between 19 and 22% overall approval from the entire American populace. Trump's already the single most unfavorable presidential candidate to have ever won elected office, so, there's that.
I looked for it, here you go Transcript: http://time.com/4597416/transcript-donald-trump-fox-interview/
Good fucking grief, his response to the questions [del]involving the DAPL[/del] about anything at all sound like someone bullshitting their way through a job interview.
Nobody really knows if that's him
It took me 5 hours to get the joke. :worried:
In reality those words mean none of those things and are used in a billion different ways... the best route is to just abandon the system and adopt a new one with very rigid standards.
It actually is quite rigid. Dumbing down science to fit the "Reality" is the last thing we need to do. People should just pay attention to elementary level science class.
I swear, Trump is the real life, political version of Max Bialystock at this point.
Nobody really knows if he's Kang or Kodos in disguise for a plan to take over Earth.
Could someone explain to me what this sentence even tries to say? Because I have no clue what it means. To me it sound like he only had to say something instead of being silent, because in my ears it means nothing.
I think he's trying to say he understands the concerns, but no one really knows if climate change (or man-made climate change) is happening. Then he goes on to say basically that its not super obvious or clear.
And now the video has been removed, wonder what that's all about.
And now the video has been removed, wonder what that's all about.
Nobody really knows
Denying climate change prank [GONE PRESIDENTIAL]
If he comes out as a flat earther I will eat a mold of earth made out of clay. 12 inches in diameter.
:toxx:
WRONG! There's (stupid) questions about if it would have happened anyway, if it's natural, but if it's happening at all is a debate among nobody.
I don't think he is stupid enough to genuinely believe that climate change is not real, however I do think he is malicious enough to deny it so that he can get more money

The New York billionaire is applying for permission to erect a coastal protection works to prevent erosion at his seaside golf resort, Trump International Golf Links & Hotel Ireland, in County Clare. A permit application for the wall, filed by Trump International Golf Links Ireland and reviewed by POLITICO, explicitly cites global warming and its consequences — increased erosion due to rising sea levels and extreme weather this century — as a chief justification for building the structure. I was at a Nobel conference about the future of food and agriculture last Friday. Though there were a couple of jokes about Trump and his incompetence, you could never really escape the following disconcerting feeling and reminder about his agenda on climate chance.
Just like gravity isn't necessarily proven right? :downs: [editline]12th December 2016[/editline] I wish we had a "lol trump" rating that was a really small scaled down picture of Postal's ass [editline]12th December 2016[/editline] I really want to post that picture of the titanic sinking with the people saying "if we're sinking why are we hundreds of feet up on the air?"
I think Miami Beach already knows http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/miami-beach/article41141856.html
Nobody really knows
Oh well, found another one.
Well a reminder that once a smoking was healthy. We can't be sure of anything in science. We can only assume that something is happening, but are we completely sure - it's us who lead to that?

We can only assume that something is happening, but are we completely sure - it's us who lead to that?
Smoking was never healthy. Some people said smoking is good for you, but what some people said about it doesn't change what it actually does. As for climate change, yes we're beyond reasonably sure that we're contributing significantly to the changes we're experiencing. We can and have measured how much CO2 we're outputting. We can and have compared current atmospheric composition to that of the past. We can and have measured ocean pH and temperature over a decent block of time. Ocean acidification is a huge deal. CO2 pumped into the air makes its way into the ocean and produce carbonic acid.
It just goes to show that Trump is a massive retard and should not be in power.
Hopefully.. the second amendment folks can do something about that. [editline]13th December 2016[/editline]
Well a reminder that once a smoking was healthy. We can't be sure of anything in science.
We can't be sure of anything in science. We can only assume that something is happening
That's not true at all. Science isn't about proving things, it's about disproving alternate hypothesis. We can tell what something isn't, which means we can tell what something is to a degree of certainty. As you chip away at what things aren't, you get closer to what a thing is. An assumption implies the lack of proof. To which scientific methodology is the exact opposite. Do you think scientists just sit around all day smokin' on a pipe and coming up with neat ideas for what might be going on?
Personally, I think we've passed the point where even if the world cut c02 emissions in half tomorrow that we'd still be in a world of hurt. You know what, climate change IS a scandal in that it's the fossil fuels industry and dog shit retarded and/or corrupt politicians that have swindled everyone out of a healthy future.
