Man. If only Massachusetts lacked large quantities of snow.
oh boo hoo it's snowed for the first time all winter.
now regulate weed. .... too soon?
Massachusetts having too much snow? Really? [editline]21st January 2012[/editline] Also nice job Massachusetts.
I know where I'm moving!
Zeke, you are a TrU aMerican HEro~~~ DemocRATS and Libural scum r hurting this onse Great cuntry! Did I do it right?
I don't see why people are celebrating. This is like being happy over someone not killing you. Or DICE adding prone in to BF3, because it's such a new and innovative feature.

It is a big deal, especially if you're a transgender individual.
What I'm saying is. It's nothing to celebrate. In fact, it's a damn shame it's taken this long and should be frowned upon. They should of had the same legal protection as everyone else from the start. It's like taking something away, then putting it back and being praised, when in fact it should never have been removed initially.

[editline]22nd January 2012[/editline] All of your analogies have been weird and not really fitting. Its like, when you bump in to someone you've never met and accidentally spill something on them.

You don't get what I'm saying at all, do you? And they aren't fitting because they aren't related to this situation at all.
Because transgenders are finally getting legal protection they deserve. It is a big deal, especially if you're a transgender individual.
Yes, now I have some rights!
I do get what you are saying, but I completely disagree with it. It should not be praised, it should be frowned upon since only now, this happened. On the analogies: They don't have to be related to the situation to fit it. This is the way I see it. He signed a bill to protect transgender citizens from being discriminated. This is praised, but I don't think it should be praised, since they never should have been discriminated from the start. DICE put the prone feature in BF3. This was praised. Once again, I don't think it should be, since it should never have been removed from the start. Do you somewhat see my point now? I know it's a bit far fetched, but I think it's pretty obvious what I'm saying.
Does equal rights also cover things like marriage? If not it doesn't really seem entirely 'equal' to me. Equal rights would mean that they'd be treated EXACTLY the same as straight people.
Except the Battlefield 3 analogy is about a feature being added that was once had but then removed. This is about protections being given to people who never had them to begin with. It should be celebrated because they now have these protections. The point of how long it took for them to get them is an entirely different issue. This boils down to one simple thing. These people now have protections they did not have before and for that people are celebrating.
