Look away, son; Father attempts to solicit prostitute with his kid in car

Prostitution stings, while a bit pointless, aren't entrapment. It's not entrapment to dangle the bait, since the suspect still ultimately makes the decision to take it up completely of his own free will.
However, it seems to me that prostitution should be legal and regulated, since it's a victimless crime if it is between two cogent, consenting adults. The problem with prostitution as it exists in the US is that prostitutes are all-too-often "slaves" to pimps, who keep them in line with fear, drugs, and financial dependence. Targeting the "johns" doesn't keep pimps from pimping, nor prostitutes from prostituting, so it seems like a rather pointless effort, except to fill some jail cells.
So wait, in America you guys have cops dress up as prostitutes even though it's illegal and then arrest other people for wanting said services? Wat, that's the most backwards sounding shit ever, don't they have something better to do with their time other then harass horny desperate people?
there's a reason the song "fuck the police" was written by americans
Why didn't he ask if she's a cop? That's literally all you have to do.
Breaking Bad spoilers obviously.
I'd be interested in hearing what Patrick's Prayer for the Crackheads on Ridgewood Avenue sounds like. I bet it involves him walking up to them and saying "Sucky fucky five dollar".

I don't see why this is getting so many disagrees. It's, like, in the constitution or whatever that they have to tell you.
-eh-

Did you seriously just say that? "it's like in the constitution or whatever" isn't a good argument at all.

And no, it isn't.

Okay whatever it's the declaration of independance or the emancipation proclamation or some old shit it's all the same
can't you avoid getting in trouble for prostitution by filming it and saying you're paying the girl to star in amateur porn
I don't see a problem here, even if he was soliciting a prostitute he was teaching his son a valuable lesson: how to properly haggle with whores.

It's hilarious that people still believe this.
Officer Reynaldo Martinez spends six months infiltrating the Latin Kings. Finally, his "brothers" are ready to fully induct his undercover persona, Crazy Eights, into the gang. Thirteen tattooed, blood-in-blood-out Latin Kings surround him, strapped for all-out street war, veins full of the finest cocaine. The leader, Juan "Los Muertos Negros" Sanchez, approaches Martinez. With a silent nod, each gang member rests a hand on the butt of their firearm. All eyes are squarely on Reynaldo, twitching nervously.
"You've done well, cabron. The family has profited, and we would be proud to have you in our ranks. But there's one question I have to ask before we make it official, homes. You a cop, esse? Because if you are, you gotta tell us. It's the law, man."
Reynaldo sighs heavily.
"Okay, okay. . .you got me. . ."

Film it, it becomes porn and for some reason is instantly legal.

This comment is really funny if you think about it for a second.
Reminds me of something...

"Okay, okay. . .you got me. . ."
I think people get that mixed up with journalists, whose company's ethics policy usually mandates they admit to being journalists if asked (if it's an even remotely trustworthy source of news).
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —With his 2-year-old son in the car, police said Patrick Williams tried to pick up a prostitute for oral sex on busy Ridgewood Avenue, but the working woman police say he was soliciting was actually working undercover.
"He's a father, married man. Normally on Ridgewood Avenue are these disease-infested prostitutes," Chitwood said. "You run the risk to get robbed or whatever else you want to do and you think it's okay to bring your 4-year-old kid with you?"
In the arrest affidavit, police said the undercover officer told Williams, "she had a room and said that the child could watch cartoons."
"He cried. Three-year-old son crying," Williams said. "We were on the way to go buy him some toys. It's causing so many problems. Soon to be ex-wife is pissed about it. It's just been a terrible situation."
They can never seem to agree on how old the kid is
