Imagine that someone's business was relying on us kids back then to play around with this Tamagochi bullshit. I don't remember if I ever had one, but I remember them, I remember sticking the respawn(?) button in the back of someone's tamagotchi at least.. It was around 13 years ago.

Tamagochi's were stupid. Pokemon Pikachus is where it's at.

Oh god I had the cool pikachu thing AND that special buzz-lightyear toystory themed one. I remember leaving that pikachu on the washing machine so it'd simulate me running around. :v:

I just realized that Tamigotchi was made by Bandai. The same company that made Dark Souls. This is completely different of what I would expect from them now.

Fuck yeah, I still have access to all of my old ones, including several Japan-only variants. It would be cool if they released the later variants too, like Angel, Forest, Ocean, etc. Ocean was hard as shit to keep healthy. I couldn't see myself carrying an actual device on me, though; too much hassle to carry all these handheld devices, but I always, ALWAYS have my phone. I'm not sure why they didn't think to do this a long time ago.

When I wanted to buy shit in my Tamagotchi I got my mom to do the shitty ass games for me, it must have taken like 3 hours to get 999 which she did. :/ dunno how to feel about that

If I recall correctly we left our tamagotchi out in the rain to make it eventually shut up. :v:
