Because other ideals involve killing those who disagree with you, like those from the middle east. Maybe western ideals would have been better.
But American ideals also involve killing people who disagree. Except we use our military.
But American ideals also involve killing people who disagree. Except we use our military.
I meant the Constitution.
But American ideals also involve killing people who disagree. Except we use our military.
I mean this in no offense ,but that seems really... Fu- Brain fart... I can't think of a word of the top of my mind ,but the way you put that seems really incorrect for the fact we don't use our military for everything.
"Arizona Apartheid" is now my favorite method of referring to this law. I wonder if the cops took this as an easy opportunity to round up and demand citizenship proof from the Hispanics demonstrating in Phoenix.
No, no, no we can't just let them in, but we can't continue with such a strict system unless we want to see more outrage like this plop up. We make sure they aren't a security threat before we naturalize them, but we don't go on with the bullshit list of requirements. The requirements to become legal are more strict than they need to be, someone had a great flow-chart on it.
basically you have said "keep the system the same" and "let them in." we don't WANT the immigrants.
basically you have said "keep the system the same" and "let them in." we don't WANT the immigrants.
Who doesn't want them?
The two seem to go hand in hand, laws exist to preserve rights.
there is no right in correlation with murder.
basically you have said "keep the system the same" and "let them in." we don't WANT the immigrants.
Who said that? No one has said that.
basically you have said "keep the system the same" and "let them in." we don't WANT the immigrants.
What? The current system isn't "make sure they aren't a security threat, then naturalize them." The current system is a bullshit list of requirements and waiting times number anywhere from 5-20 years. And no, America isn't an exclusive club. There's no fucking VIP list.
Who doesn't want them?
the american government and most of its people obama might want them for votes
the american government and most of its people obama might want them for votes
Somebody remind me what it says on the bottom of the Statue of Liberty. Oh, right. "Fuck off, America is for Americans."
Somebody remind me what it says on the bottom of the Statue of Liberty. Oh, right. "Fuck off, America is for Americans."
It says "No Boys Allowed" [editline]12:10AM[/editline]
yes it is. if you want in, you have to be able to earn it. america does not need people to come and live off of the system, we need people with trades and skills. go look at some of europe's naturalization laws. are they bullshit? america has enough problems, why add to it with more immigrants?
I'm not knowledgeable in European law, how should I know? I do know however, that this country is 99.9% immigrant, was founded by immigrants, and nothing in this documents states that the US is only entitled to people who are skilled http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html#Sigs. Freedom above all, if you can't live by that creed the US is not for you. Also if you want skilled people stop spending money fighting the wave of immigrants and put the money into the failing education system.
Look, I live in Yuma county, at the border in Arizona. I drive through the border patrol station every day, plenty of Mexicans drive by without problems. Hell half of the border patrol is Mexican, so it's getting annoying to hear people call this racist. It's caused more problems in central Arizona than the towns with actual illegals in it. I know for a fact I go to class with some.

And anybody not born here is unskilled? [editline]02:16AM[/editline] You didn't earn any right to live here either. You were only born in America. You didn't need to get a green card or take any citizenship test.
forced to show ID = unconstitutional
You're forced to show ID when you're pulled over.
You're forced to show ID when you're pulled over.
that's because you were doing something illegal. under the constitution you do not have to supply documentation without a reasonable suspicion.
the american government and most of its people obama might want them for votes
hey thats my image u fag [editline]09:16AM[/editline] give it back!!
Education is a right, not a privililage.
No it IS a privilege, where in the US constitution does it say, "And the children are to be entitled to free education"? No, you don't. Don't spout random shit that you can't back up. Yes, there are laws that say every child needs to have an education, but it isn't a right.
Illegals don't have the rights of American citizens if they aren't legal American citizens.
You're forced to show ID when you're pulled over.
So being brown should require a license in the same way that operating a motor vehicle should require a license [editline]05:13AM[/editline] sir you are not certified to be that colour operating that skin at this time is dangerous I need to impound it at once please step out of the brown skin [editline]05:14AM[/editline] suspect is fleeing the scene in an unlicensed brown skin put out an APB on brown skinned man [editline]05:15AM[/editline] officer hernandez do you have a license to be operating that skin at this time
So being brown should require a license in the same way that operating a motor vehicle should require a license
What the fuck are you talking about. You can't be pulled over for the color of your skin you fucking tool. If you think the police are really doing this then you're a paranoid asshole. They fucking check your shit when you get pulled over legitimately. They aren't pulling people over because they are Mexican Jesus fucking Christ. Illegal Immigration IS a problem, and it's especially a problem in Phoenix Arizona, which has a HUGE gang problem and the highest amount of kidnappings in the country. The drug war is spilling into Arizona and the Mexico bordering states. They're trying to fucking take care of this shit so more people don't get killed. This isn't just fucking stupid racism, stop trying to make it out to be that.
What the fuck are you talking about. You can't be pulled over for the color of your skin you fucking tool. If you think the police are really doing this then you're a paranoid asshole.
Yeah, I think you completely missed the point of the analogy You have to provide ID when pulled over in a traffic stop because you're operating a car. This Arizona bill lets the cops force anyone they want to show their ID, driving or not. And the people they want will most likely be Hispanic.

Where does it say that in the law.
You know, I just do not get it, why should we accept illegal immigrants? I can understand why they want to crawl out of that shithole but the US needs to stop taking up the slack of other people's problems, we've been doing it for far too long and lately it's been coming back to bite us. Personally I don't care what they do in Mexico or any other country, they should be working to improve their own quality of life there.

Have you ever been pulled over (In the U.S.)? I'll assume not. I'll let you know that the officer asks for some I.D. This law says that if the person fails to show any I.D. and is "brown", then they'll take them back to the station and check it out. I don't see what's wrong with this. It should be done with everybody, not just "browns".
To people saying that the police don't like the law and won't enforce it: In the bill shows that if police fail to enforce this law that they're liable to get sued. This means if they don't do anything about you not having an id if you are white brown or whatever they can get sued. People are forgetting the fact that we are talking about people who illegally immigrated into a country, if you were to illegally immigrate into Mexico the police have the right to kill you. Nothing is wrong with immigration but if you are going to go into a country illegally you shouldn't get diplomatic immunity just because checking your I.D is unconstitutional.
this thread is really bringing out the inbred hicks
I think that we should try to make mexico a much better place. Once we get the economy back on track we should offer police training to help crack down on drug smuggling, help build hospitals, set up an education system for them, etc. [editline]05:56PM[/editline]
You don't understand. [editline]05:58PM[/editline] I don't think it'll be long until the supreme court makes this law unconstitutional.
