Hands down full bright amazing.
Also the radio inside the car is showing the name of the station.
Not going to lie, it's fucking beautiful, but I am just completely disinterested in modern videogames now. I already experienced all that GTA5 has to offer and I kind of got bored after beating the game. The thing im looking forward to the most is what the mod support is going to be like. Anyways, it's not like im going to be able to run the thing, my computer is really outdated now with games coming out looking like this.
I never bought GTA V for my 360. I think I'm going to have to do something about that when the PC version launches.
That first person looked better than I ever imagined. Can't wait to replay the campaign in first person
4k support with low res textures
Rockstar are truly experts at their craft. This is mind blowing.
I once thought that video games couldn't look much more better, that the playing field would eventually even out and new video cards would not have as big of a performance gap as they used to. I was dead wrong.
Y'know, I don't know many games that have a big immersive sandbox city, and was first person.
30fps on consoles? What's the fucking point then
30fps on consoles? What's the fucking point then
What did you expect?
30fps on consoles? What's the fucking point then
You're going to be sat a decent distance from your TV, modern TVs tend to be okay at blending frames. You're not going to notice it running at 30 much in the same you don't notice almost every other game running at 30. As long as Rockstar can keep at at 30 minimum anyway.
Modern TVs tend to be okay at blending frames.
frame interpolation results in input lag, so i take that as a grain of salt. i thought the whole selling point of next gen was 60fps 1080p or whatever i don't really actually care because i'm buying it on pc but i was under the assumption that was going to be one of the biggest parts of the next gen version
frame interpolation results in input lag. i thought the whole selling point of next gen was 60fps 1080p or whatever i don't really actually care because i'm buying it on pc but i was under the assumption that was going to be one of the biggest parts of the next gen version
Frame interpolation performed by the display shouldn't result in very much lag. The console isn't having to perform the blending operations, a dedicated unit designed solely for that purpose will be. The input lag from frame interpolation will also be basically fuck all, interpolation doesn't take very long and it can be made a parallel operation quite easily as pixel counts should never be different to the TV. Well, in decent TVs anyway, I dunno if cheapo ones have these units in them, or if any still have them today, though it'd be fairly dumb to remove these things...
i'm totally fine paying for this game again considering the GTA 4 port was so good

Does anyone have a link to a good 60fps 1080p trailer somewhere?
Does anyone have a link to a good 60fps 1080p trailer somewhere?
It was captured from the PS4 it seems, and the consoles still play the game at 30fps so you're out of luck there.
Does anyone have a link to a good 60fps 1080p trailer somewhere?
Fuck. Forgot how to embed it but here's one.
To be fair, 30fps lock isn't such a bad thing on PS4/Xbone. In comparison, the PS3/360 versions barely hit 30fps at any given time and mostly chugged around at 20-28fps a good portion of the time with dips as low as 15fps. New-gen version should feel a lot more consistent and better.
This is very much going to be on my Steam account as soon as I can afford it. It's like a totally different game, like the GTA V on my PS3 was an early beta or something. Fuckin' awesome.
Does anyone have a link to a good 60fps 1080p trailer somewhere?
There are no 60FPS trailers, the video was captured from the Console versions which Run at 30. [editline]5th November 2014[/editline]
Fuck. Forgot how to embed it but here's one.
That video is using fake 60FPS.
I know its a minimal feature, but I want the "check engine light" to come on when the cars take enough damage. That way I can role-play as if I'm driving my real life car with tons of engine problems!
That theoretically could have been a feature in IV, but I don't think the damage model worked like that in V.

Damn the view models actually look decent, that was a worry.
cars still take damage in 5, just less visible damage so that you'd run into less situations where your frontend is colliding with the tires causing the car to be basically useless in a chase after 1 crash while its less fun to crash your car into walls to look how fucked up the car gets, its easier to regain control of a chase when you crashed, unlike in 4 where sometimes the car is just fucked and you can't gain speed to lose the cops
I know that, but I can't remember if there was that same fuck up the car enough that it won't start like IV did. I'm just gonna turn my ps3 on and check.
do we have any inkling of the performance requirements?
I know that, but I can't remember if there was that same fuck up the car enough that it won't start like IV did. I'm just gonna turn my ps3 on and check.
You can do that in V too.
Mod support next please
