Pampered?! MY FATHER IS PAMPERED BECAUSE HE EARNS LESS THAN $40,000 A YEAR TEACHING DOUCHE TEENAGERS?! That's complete and utter bullshit, and anyone that supports the idea of public employee's being pampered doesn't know jack-SHIT.
Its like in England where the tube workers go on strike because they apparently don't get paid enough when teachers get jack shit. If countries actually want to solve their problems then they should start with a dedicated education system.
This bill won't affect me because I am fabulously wealthy, so why should I care about people who are going to suffer? Let them eat cake, I say!

It's not necessary to survive, I mean, firefighters are necessary because homes catch on fire all the time, but there are no statistics about how often somebody becomes dumb. I mean, if we all use a little common sense we can get by without the need for things like math, science, reading and knowledge of other countries.
Where is the "we are giant douchebags" signs?
Because only the left are allowed to protest, right?
Naw because they sound like huge douchebags to me. [editline]20th February 2011[/editline] I don't know how I can make that any clearer. [editline]20th February 2011[/editline] They are douchezillas [editline]20th February 2011[/editline] Douchenburgs

Hahaha, oh you Americans, I adore how you act like the two parties are fundamentally different. Thank god we don't have the two party system here!
And the unions sound like douchebags to me because they are unwilling to pay for their own healthcare and retirement like the other 80-something percent of Americans. [editline]20th February 2011[/editline] [Citation Needed]
I haven't heard anything other than anecdotal evidence so I don't really believe you.
[editline]20th February 2011[/editline] [Citation Needed]
9/11 the war on terror his entire administration and hes a republican, so that pretty much hammers it for you

Also tax cuts for the rich (trickle down, remember?) and fewer rights for women.
[Citation Needed]
stop posting this, it's not clever or a good means of discussing anything. unless you live under a damn rock you are fully aware of almost every charge that has been leveled against bush i don't know how it's that hard to understand that the impact of a person's policies might continue on after the second that their term ends.

[editline]20th February 2011[/editline] [Citation Needed]
You realise that by paying taxes for healthcare they are indirectly paying for their own insurance. I seriously don't understand why republicans think that healthcare taxes mean that they don't pay for their own insurance.
I support unions but at the sametime hate them. Unions were originally created to keep the workers safe and healthly. Originally they were used for safety equipment and 8 hour work days. A great example are the teacher unions. Already in there contracts they get a raise but they use the union to get another raise ontop of it. That's what I'm against. I do dislike this bill though and hope it falls through.
9/11 the war on terror his entire administration and hes a republican, so that pretty much hammers it for you
9/11 was actually Clinton's fault. He had multiple opportunities to kill bin Laden, and chose to not make the move. The war on terror is a symptom of 9/11. And the last 2 points are just opinion.
9/11 was actually Clinton's fault. He had multiple opportunities to kill bin Laden, and chose to not make the move. The war on terror is a symptom of 9/11. Simple wiki search: "In 1998, two years after the warning, the Clinton administration ordered several military missions to capture or kill bin Laden that failed."- New York Times
Oh fuck the Nazi party has come to protest the workers. Lenin would be ashamed.
9/11 was actually Clinton's fault.
i fell over, knocked my head on my desk, and actually had to pause arcade fire
and they are throwing a fit rightfully because state spending is being cut from all of these pittiances that the public welfare depends on instead of the big armor plated, fully automatic, 20-percent-of-the-budget elephant in the room
It's a 5th gen stealth elephant, they can't see it.
No it's not...here are some of their signs: [img_thumb]http://i812.photobucket.com/albums/zz46/SuperJay_photo/Protest%20Signs/Sign1.jpg[/img_thumb]
come* by golly it's almost as if they need teachers who woulda thunk it
Came is the past tense of come.
Came is the past tense of come.
if you said "i would have came yesterday" you're saying you'd be there yesterday if you said "i would have come yesterday" you're saying you'd be going there yesterday
[img_thumb]http://i812.photobucket.com/albums/zz46/SuperJay_photo/Protest%20Signs/Sign1.jpg[/img_thumb]
"I would have come yesterday but I had to work my job which isn't under attack by union busting conservatives and I get lots of good benefits and fantastic pay, more than you, but I'm running out of sign space so I just want to say STUPID LIBERALS"
So glaber doesn't understand grammar either. Hey glaber, without sourcing fox news, or without basically repeating, verbatim what your editorial radio hosts tell you to repeat, please, for the love of god, tell me why Why does limiting unions help? Why does shutting down planned parenthood? redefining rape, hell, glaber, you know as well as I do, the last week has just been a week of pure stupidity in the form of bills passed as far as I can tell. But I want to give you a chance here glaber, I just want you to tell me, why the hell does any of this stuff help? How is this not classist, rascist, homophobic, sexist, and generally ignorant of our problems? [editline]20th February 2011[/editline] and ridge, I can't even argue with you. You're too much of an apologist. I love how you can actually manage to blame 9/11 on clinton. That's amazing, like, the level of self deception you've mastered? my dick would be rock hard knowing i could lie to myself that well.
