oh jeezus for real
I would certainly rather no bloodshed as opposed to any at all but what else are you supposed to do with such a shitbag? Especially if, hypothetically speaking, he finally does do something everyone might regret?
I feel bad for Seoul because they're the ones who have to put up with Kim's retarded ass.
Seems like we're just hoping for them to fall apart
It happened to the USSR, it happened to the Polish People's Republic, might as well happen to NK.

The DPRK outlasted all of them. At this point we're just kind of hoping China or russia gets tired of their shit.

Except the USSR and Poland were exposed to the Western world a lot more and liked what they saw. The level of repression in NK is on the same level as Stalinist Russia or Maoist China.
But wouldn't those spud guns use up the entire countries food supply?
If anything does happen, it will be a shitshow for everyone involved.
If anything, it should already start so that it can finally be over.
NK regularly fires artillery over the border, and nothing has ever been done before, this time wouldn't be any different.
That is a pretty horrible conperison. South Korea is a huge US Allie. The reason nothing is done when North Korea acts up is to avoid further escalation. Your really out of touch if you think North Korea invading South Korea wouldn't be met with military action from multiple country's.

I don't think anyone is in a hurry to start a war that will immediately result in mass casualtys.

Kim Jong-Un does that on a regular basis anyway
One major problem with the fall of the current North Korean regime, is that almost immediately after the fall of the regime, every weapon that the North Korean military has will have the possibility of flowing off onto the black market.
You are talking thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of weapons which will spill into China, South Korea, Japan, just about every neighboring country will have weapons which will be spilled into the hands of the black market. The best example I can possibly give is comparing the fall of the Soviet Bloc. When it came down, all sorts of military equipment started to get passed around within the black market, and it still is too this day.
Now imagine how that effected the worldwide trade of illegal firearms, and now imagine how the fall of North Korea would effect the worldwide trade.
