why do i always see this shit on facepunch? why is the rest of the world so fucking concerned with america? i oft see other nations as having some sort of strange twisted international scale voyeuristic problem americans don't look at your nation and say "oh heh heh, look at these guys again" it's kind of repulsive, like imagining your neighbor you never talk to looking in your backyard all the time
A large chunk of FP's users are American. Why wouldn't this be on FP? Americans, and the rest of the world, should be in tune with what's going on with our presidential elections because of national international policy. [sp]Likewise, Americans should pay attention to the world.[/sp]
Hillary Clinton is like one of those people you sometimes find in the workplace who are absolutely toxic and create a hostile environment, but management have their hands tied and can't fire the person. Fuck that, I'd rather vote for Bernie Sanders.
Isn't Bernie a Zionist?
id vote for him. id like to see how a frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter runs the USA
thank god you don't live here then, I'd rather have Hilary over this guy. fuck it, I'd vote for Romney over Santorum.
i think the thing is im not really concerned with other nations ever unless they're in distress i have friends all across europe and would be concerned for them if there was some sort of national disaster they were subject to, but idgaf who their political leaders are, even in america it makes little to no difference what people feel the most is how much they're paying on taxes, not much else
thank god you don't live here then, I'd rather have Hilary over this guy. fuck it, I'd vote for Romney over Santorum.
Why the fuck are you voting the lesser of two evils? Do you not realize you are still voting for something shit?
because it doesnt matter
Isn't Bernie a Zionist?
He skipped out on Netanyahu's visit to congress so I don't think so. Pretty sure he wants a two state solution.
just out of morbid curiosity I want to know how much he can fuck everything up
I don't like him cause he was showing strain on the campaign trail. Like crack and flip out..….
Why the fuck are you voting the lesser of two evils? Do you not realize you are still voting for something shit?
didn't say I was gonna go out and vote for Romney over Santorum, because it'd be impossible. I already have my vote on Sanders anyways, no matter what.
There's a mod that isn't fun here.
It seems a bit childish that because you don't like some politician you call him a frothy lube and shit mixture online. Im actually pretty sure a 10 year old called me that on modern warfare 2.
I'll second that Rick Santorum is indeed a human toilet
because it doesnt matter
Yes it does. You're sending them the message that you're unaware or apathetic. If no one voted it would send a whole different message altogether.

Im actually pretty sure a 10 year old called me that on modern warfare 2.
I don't think you understand the history behind that whole thing. Rick Santorum has been a large opponent against gay rights in the past. He often compared the idea behind marriage between two men as closely related to the idea of marriage between a man and a dog. In response to the negative attention he has given to gay marriage, Dan Savage, largely known for his work as a relationship advice columnist (who just so happens to be gay) decided to fight back against him by creating a definition for the word "Santorum." He also spoke out against abortion and birth control in the past, and really isn't liked too much outside of conservative/religious circles. I'm actually surprised no one's brought any of this up in the thread so far.
I hope he becomes the Republican nominee for 2016. Because if he does, the chances of the GOP winning would be awfully close to 0%.

I mean, Great Britain apparently did not expect a Conservative win this past election, do you want to risk this man in office?
Reminder.
Still can't believe he got away with this.
He was the GOP's last desperate effort to not pick Romney
Natural selection is working backwards on that graph
Why don't people like this guy?
Complete liar(then again, politicians are lying sacks of shits). Said that a baby born from rape should be accepted as a gift of human life and not aborted. (possibly)Pandering to the batshit insane GOP supporters. Like that retired schoolteacher who claimed the President tried to nuke South Carolina. He was offended that the schoolteacher said he was still in Congress by the way. Did I miss anything?
ah yeah good old Rick "Dirtpipe Milkshake" Santorum

As a Republican: I am also upset by this news. His campaign was garbage, and he only achieved the further alienation of this party. The 2016 race is already getting far too clogged with shit.

It was only a matter of time before the GOP became a sour taste in mouth of the youth, middle class, etc.

I think the bigger problem is that GOP are too busy fighting on fronts they can't win such as abortion and and gay marriage, Because that is where their big support is. The thing though is they can't move away from that because GOP has shot itself so bad with more middle-minded people that they need the hard right. The only way they win the presidency I for see is just the liberal youth not going out to vote, which they have a history of being unreliable voters. Which if Hillary is running as the opposing side I think we could see a Republican victory this time.
I think everyone gives Iowa way too much credit, frankly its primary is too early anymore to matter, the field really seperates once you get to the later primaries, Romney lost the first primary to santorum yet still made it to the ticket. The GOP field is a mess of shotgunned niche candidates each vying for one demographic, while none of them really have broad appeal, and they all have either papers with PLAN written on them or have actual ludicris plans that will never pass scrutiny. Sure Paul has a plan to lower taxes, by flat taxing everyone, killing the IRS and causing an enormous deficit because of the radically slashed tax base, sure cruze has a plan to replace obama care by grandfathering plans onto private insurance, gutting the subsidies so premiums skyrocket, and killing of insurance regulations so it becomes business as usual. The GOP makes me sick anymore, nobody should have to go without medical care or food in this county but the GOP is hell bent on making sure some people have to
Do you really want to take that chance? I mean, Great Britain apparently did not expect a Conservative win this past election, do you want to risk this man in office?
I know Cameron's a corrupt bag of dicks but compared to Santorum he's fucking Nelson Mandela.
No. We don't. Regardless of what he believes, that's no excuse to degrade and insult him like that. I reflects very poorly on us.
no, we still hate him
No. We don't. Regardless of what he believes, that's no excuse to degrade and insult him like that. I reflects very poorly on us.
Well he reflects poorly on politics :v: and then some. I think we get the point though
No. We don't. Regardless of what he believes, that's no excuse to degrade and insult him like that. I reflects very poorly on us.
The man is a complete bigot and a 5 foot 8 walking, talking, piece of shit. He's a holy rolling bigot, a racist, homophobic, and xenophobic. He's the candidate that brought home his still birthed child, had his living children take pictures with it, then take it to the morgue to be processed. He is not a sane individual. He should be no where near politics, let alone running for president. He is the perfect example of how diluted and misguided the modern conservative republican party is. Us calling him "Santorum" is kind in comparison the the real piece of shit he is. [editline]31st May 2015[/editline]
I hope he becomes the Republican nominee for 2016. Because if he does, the chances of the GOP winning would be awfully close to 0%.
You think that. Obama's presidency has been a disaster in the eyes of the public, and it doesn't matter whose fault it is. Anyone who has paid attention these past 6 years knows that Republicans have a good shot at winning the 2016 election, even if some dip shit like Santorum gets up on the podium. It's how Obama got elected after the disaster that was Bush's presidency.
