Was Benghazi Attack on U.S. Consulate an Inside Job?
Or maybe they think he let it happen because if it was actually a terrorist attack it would be contradicting everything he's been saying up to this point? That it was not actually a terrorist attack, and it was a bunch of people pissed off over the movie?
Obama clearly called it a terrorist attack the day of.
The Libyan people came in after the fighting and recovered the Ambassador's body. The only security were 2 ex SEALs, one who had only arrived days before the attack. They weren't even there when the fighting started and denied orders to stand down so they could go defend the consulate. Ryan made a good point about the Ambassador in France having a Marine detachment guarding him. Why a US diplomat would have virtually no security in a country that just ended a bloody civil war is beyond me. Especially when Libya has a known Al-Qaeda presence and had been previously attacked multiple times.
The article [thread=1211548]here[/thread] makes a passing mention of Libyan Security Forces being on scene, and the one [thread=1211661]here[/thread] mentions Libyan Security Forces + a pro-American militia trying to fight back, as well as elaborating on the Consulate's security measures, including the Libyan security forces and US civilian security officers. The second source looks a bit dodgy, but the details are reinforced by this article published on the DoD website.
Keep in mind I'm not saying I believe this, but Obama has been making a pretty big fucking deal over that one anti-Islam movie, spreading it everywhere and apologizing for it constantly. This is really not helping keep it under wraps and keep the rage over it down. That isn't the point, though.
that one anti-Islam movie has also stirred up outrage in other islamic countries, and with the fact that it's known muslims are bit freckle, as well it's a state fresh from civil war with weapons everywhere, the anti-islam movie was a pretty good hypothesis, but obama nor did the administration say it was entirely the video's fault
the only 'apology' was the condemnation of the video made by frightened US consulates to try calm the crowd down along with several condemnation by others, then Obama on first day of the libyan shit said it was an act of terror
where's this fucking constant apology and shit from?
you don't never throw the blame game immediately, you, like obama, say it was an act of terror and admit it's a tragedy, then you investigate without bias, this isn't Law & order, it wasn't going to be immediate, it takes awhile, but as long obama and everyone already said it's a bloody terrorist attack with them pursuing them, what's the problem?
Fox news had a big 1 hour special on the whole ordeal. Never heard anyone say it was an inside job though.

the only question i seriously want answered, why was there lack of guards in the embassy??
Edit: It's oddly contradictory how people always go "WOW, what a MASSIVE TRAGEDY" when a billion people die in some atrocity in africa but don't really care, but when a couple of people die and it's on a personal level people take it to heart.
I wasn't aware that as soon as a popular game uses a quote it instantly becomes uncredible.
I think most people would understand that the President wants to get re-elected. Therefore, he wouldn't do anything, especially this close to the election, to jeopardize his re-election.
So why would he deliberately chose to put an ambassador in danger? That makes no sense.
I'd also point out Libya is a country in transition. There is no real nationwide establishment of law and order there. Every US official there, every American visible to Libyans, was and is a potential target all the time. It's not such a shocking attack when you think about that.
Plus, it can happen to any President. Ronnie Reagan, that beacon of American cowboy toughness that Republicans worship, had 300 US Marines blown up while he was President and he did...nothing about it. That's how much people feared him, which is to say, not at all.
