Yes they do.
I have one of the few unlimited plans left in Canada, from Primus. I get it bundled with kickass home phone though, 18 calling features and unlimited calls across North America, but for internet I pay for 7mbps, I only get 4.5 (they say it's because the phone lines in my area are 70 years old) and I have unlimited download. I pay ~$75/month for it.
Unfortunately in Canada, you either have fast internet, or you have unlimited download. Rogers offers cable up to 50mbps, but it has a 175GB cap for $100/month. Bell has Fibre up to 25mbps, with an 80GB cap for $55/month. The fastest Unlimited I can find that'll service my area is Teksavvy Cable, they offer 15mbps and unlimited download for $54/month. With Teksavvy, though, you have to buy the modem and pay out the ass for installation, something Bell and Rogers offer for free (Rogers actually factors in perpetual modem rental to their costs, you never own your cable modem with them).
$54/month for a 15 megabit line with no cap is, regardless of initial startup costs, a good deal in this country
I live in the north and I'm paying nearly $80/month for a unlimited 1.5/.1 line, it's the only thing available.
Yes that's 1.5 megabit down and 100 KILObit up
70 bucks for 4mbps down?
Talk about a ripoff.
ADSL2, 24mbps down/1mbps up, 55€ a month.
4mbps is the shaping speed if the quota is exceeded..
i hate my neighborhood that doesn't have fiber optics or cable internet providers.
fucking 3mbps for $25 a month god damn i hate it here
20€ per month for 24/1 here. Wish I had cable.
I would use that 5 hours to download EVERYTHING then drop the service.
Comcast is awesome, we never go past the bandwidth limit, and I can make servers for friends to play on :smug:
25 Mbp/S is all we get, but it's good, why do people complain :colbert:

At least you don't have Hughes net :v:
200MB cap and barely faster than dial-up.
One of my friends had it because it was the only option in his town, after a month he canceled and went back to dial-up.
We're being capped this may at 150gb shared with 3 people.
I would be happy with this plan. :smith:
BT is alright.
Except for the fact that their Speedtouch routers stops me from playing an online game for 5 seconds before a connection problem.
I'll have to remember to download the entire internet next year when I go to Sweden.
Oh snap, just found out we pay $30 a month for 100/100 :aaa:
joke's on you that's the only plan comcast has with a data cap as far as i know
i never had a data cap, verizon doesn't have a data cap, i dunno what other major providers there are
What are you talking about, Comcast has a 250gb data cap on all internet services
People in other countries complaining about their >100gb data caps makes me sad about how crap our broadband options really are.
What are you talking about, Comcast has a 250gb data cap on all internet services
That isn't enforced, or if it is, man, they are about 3 years behind, For the last 3 years I been using more than 250gb, about 400gb, lately, 750gb-ish.
:saddowns:
I used to have a 15gb cap.
Per month.
It was hell.
Used to be on 2gb
now I have 150gb which is okay.
Thank god the ISPs in Thailand haven't discovered capping yet.
Eh, I'm running on a 7mbps line on a Telecom plan, no cap here, the only problem I have is that their lines are always saturated, you can't even play on saturday because you get a latency higher than 200ms, though the other weekdays are fine. I don't complain tho since I live in a rural place.
Still beats my 100gb datacap.
Which still beats my 10gb datacap. I feel like I'm in 1997.
sounds good to me
Comcast is such a piece of shit company. I refuse to go back to them after getting my 25/25 Fios connection. I plan on moving early next year also, I will not move to a place that doesn't have Fios. Fuck Comcast and their damn 250Gb cap. They can take that cap and shove it so far up their ass, that they get their shitty internet connection in their stomach.
Here in Sweden we have 1GBit WITHOUT ANY DATA CAP!
america should really just switch to 100% fiber optic.
Due to japan Switchin to fiber optic, they have shitload batshit speed for like half the price
Google is trying to start the fiber optic thing with 1GBPS speeds in america which i would gladly switch over to if it ever touches my city (also hoyll shit)
Also my Internet Speed isn't that bad for what we pay for

There's like six people living there, that's why.
I highly doubt the download speeds are anywhere near advertised during regular surfing on sites that Comcast doesn't own.
It's funny because any comcast site is slow as hell.
you could get a direct line and cut the difference by selling it to your neighbors as extremely cheap, fast, reliable internet
That's illegal generally here in the states I believe.

hah.... All comcast internet has a 250gb cap except for their business plans.
No, it means you can only dowload up to 250 GB of data in a given month before you're throttled.
Comcast doesn't throttle you from what I've researched. They call you and warn you about usage, if you continue they shut off your connection for a month, and you still are billed. if you do it again they block your connection for a year.
I don't experience any of the shit portion of Comcast because my family just said fuck it and bought business class instead. No cap as well.
Still sucks dick compared to the speeds above, and it's $100 a month for 50mbps with 4mbps upload.
I've been looking at their plans and 100 bucks a month should get you 22mbps down and 5mbps up. 190 gives you 50down and 10 up.
I remember Korea's Dial up beating a speed of US cable

You do realize, that your getting about half that speed down, comcast tricks everybody with their shitty powerfuck, which does nothing.
I don't have any kind of data cap and actually get fairly good internet service up here in Montana with Bresnan.
Although we get three strikes in terms of piracy.
And my family has already used up two. (Not me.)
Pfft, 105 Mbit/s?
[img_thumb]http://www.speedtest.net/result/1262188361.png[/img_thumb]
Okay here's what's going to happen
You are going to order something large from Canada. Large. Then you give me a call and tell me who is shipping it. Posing as you, I will phone up the courier and say that I'll just intercept the shipment here. I'll get into the large box. Now that I'm in and the item is already set up to ship, phone them again and say that you'll need it shipped anyway.
Once I get to Norway you will let me use your internet and sleep on your couch

Why is your IP only rated 3 stars if they give you that type of service.
