Well, that changes everything.
When will I be able to fucking switch to FiOS in my condominium, I'm starting to get sick of Comcast already.
Well I'm still on that connection right now. Shit's awesome.
how do they get away with this shit In britain I've got a 20Mb connection that gets throttled to a quarter of that speed for a few hours if you download about 15GB in peak times. Outside peak times you can do whatever the hell you want though, and this is one of the more draconian policies.

Oh look Regional Report / Collection agency seeking to collect — from Comcast http://www.twincities.com/business/ci_17911978?nclick_check=1
A New Ulm collection agency once hired to nag thousands of delinquent cable customers for Comcast has sent a big bill to the national cable company for a past-due payment. Lindy's Collection Service has taken its bill to court, first filing a lawsuit in Brown County District Court. The lawsuit was moved to federal court last week. The lawsuit claims Comcast owes Lindy's $314,210 for canceling its contract with the collection agency in July. A copy of the contract included with the lawsuit said the cable provider agreed to pay a $5 return fee for any account it closed. Lindy's is claiming Comcast closed 62,842 accounts when the contract was canceled. The collection agency also wants Comcast to provide accounting records for any payments it has received from clients who had been assigned to Lindy's Collection Service. The contract required Comcast to pay Lindy's 33 percent of all past-due payments collected. Lindy's is estimating Comcast owes at least $50,000 for those collections. In an answer to the allegations, Comcast said Lindy's is misrepresenting the contract. The company also denied requesting any accounts be closed but admitted giving a written notice that it would not renew the contract. Lindy's does not have grounds to charge a return fee or collect any additional commissions, according to the Comcast filing. Comcast is requesting the lawsuit be dismissed
Comcast sure is a great business.
