• Software Translates Your Voice into Another Language

I want to play with this so much right now. It'd be so cool to hear how I'd sound speaking proper German as I try to learn it.
The Mandarin translation sounded best. This would be so useful where I live, where one needs to speak at least 3 languages to be a desirable employee. I'm currently learning Hmong, Spanish, Punjabi, and Farsi.
You're missing that you speak into this device, and in your own voice, the device beings to speak in whatever language you selected. There's no reading of text involved.
Google Translate already has support for playing the translated text as sound, spoken in a voice for some languages
I don't want this to come out, it'd just give lazy fucks an excuse not to learn another language and drive an industry out of business.

And fuck those lazy sons of bitches... Who cares about moving forward with science, we can't let people keep being lazy!

And I highly doubt it will entirely eliminate the language business. As we all know, translation software isn't perfect, and there will always be people that know more than one language.
One step closer to Star Trek

Isn't this pretty much voice recognition software coupled with translation software coupled with text-to-speech software?
Isn't this pretty much voice recognition software coupled with translation software coupled with text-to-speech software?
The special thing here is that it sounds like your own voice.
Oh man, this would be great for hosting multicultural religious symposiums.
I don't want this to come out, it'd just give lazy fucks an excuse not to learn another language and drive an industry out of business.
Why should we HAVE to learn another language?
Why should we HAVE to learn another language?
We really should have a world wide standard language by now...
We really should have a world wide standard language by now...
English is basically the de facto language, from what I can tell. It's a trade language.
We really should have a world wide standard language by now...
There was this one guy who tried to make a single world language that took parts of several languages. Fell flat on its ass.
