• Green Day to get RockBand Video Game

I like Green Day, but they don't deserve a whole game to themselves. A DLC pack or two would have been sufficient.
this better be some early april fool's joke
It's called hype, you must not know what fans and the music is. DO YOU KNOW THE ENEMY DO YOU KNOW THE ENEMYDO YOU KNOW THE ENEMYDO YOU KNOW THE ENEMYDO YOU KNOW THE ENEMYDO YOU KNOW THE ENEMYDO YOU KNOW THE ENEMYDO YOU KNOW THE ENEMYDO YOU KNOW THE ENEMYDO YOU KNOW THE ENEMYDO YOU KNOW THE ENEMY
More like GreenGay
what happened to The Who
They got a DLC pack for RB 1 and they're playing the superbowl! Greatest band of all time in my opinion. So basically green day=the beatles in the eyes of RB devs?
Green Day is my favorite band, but I think a Guitar Hero Green Day would have been better, then we could have had some guest acts (Pinhead Gunpowder anyone?). I'll be buying because for voxtar it will be amazing, but since their songs are already easy I can pretty much just learn them on real instruments and play along to the instruments... Definitely not the best band choice.
this is so stupid...first they sellout, then they get a video game, looks like they just do it for the $$$ (not like i was a big fan of theirs anyway)
Are you kidding? I know this sounds crazy but I thought that harmonix was a group with integrity. Rockband games should only be reserved to arguably the greatest bands of all time. I believe the rockband franchise is actually selling out by making a game about a band that sold out long ago.

American Idiot and 21st century were stories. I would agree with Harmonix selling out to an extent, but that is more of MTV games doing that.
I'm sick of this bullshit. STOP MAKING THESE GAMES.
Only band games I'd buy would be Yes, or Rush. And they would have to come with a keyboard controller, absolutley HAVE to.
Good god, I can already hear the hellish sounds that will be emitting everywhere there is a Green Day fan:
Do you know the enemy?
and now I'm wishing for GH: Slayer GH: Iron Maiden
These... Soon enough there's gonna be Rock Band: Jonas Brothers

It's a fine tune, but that's not Green Day. Here I was thinking everyone was over Green Day. I haven't listened to my American Idiot CD in years.
RockBand : Pink Floyd or Guitar Hero : Pink Floyd :allears:
Here I was thinking everyone was over Green Day. I haven't listened to my American Idiot CD in years.
You should listen to it, fucking amazing CD. My favorite of all time.
Should be guitar hero GH>RB
At first, I hated this news. Green Day suck these days. However given the time I've had to think about it, I think it would be a moderately good excuse to get into rock band again. Just as long as it has more old punk music than hyper-sized self-indulgent rockstar bullshit. I'm not holding my breath on that one.
Only band games I'd buy would be Yes, or Rush. And they would have to come with a keyboard controller, absolutley HAVE to.
And voice pitch womanizer for RB:Rush.
Moar like Green Gay.
I don't get why anyone hates Green Day, and for what unexplainable reason that doesn't include any theory from Lost.
