No, this happened in October or whatever too, they mobilized and nothing happened after shit tons of bombings.
Oh yeah totally. You make it sounds like Mossad shot down the plane, simply so they can enter Gaza.
Oh yeah totally. You make it sounds like Mossad shot down the plane, simply so they can enter Gaza.
That's retarded. It's just convenient for them.
What the fuck, some reporter lady is on a hill outside Gaza and you can see rockets flying into Gaza and hitting targets, but the fucking Israelis are pulled up on fucking lawn chairs cheering when they see rockets hit
doing a ground attack at 12am, when the general population is sleeping
What the fuck, some reporter lady is on a hill outside Gaza and you can see rockets flying into Gaza and hitting targets, but the fucking Israelis are pulled up on fucking lawn chairs cheering when they see rockets hit
the israelis hold palestinians in the highest of regards
doing a ground attack at 12am, when the general population is sleeping
But that makes it sound as is Israel even cares about the general population of Gaza
At any given rate, Palestine is doomed to destruction. Hamas keeps screwing with Israel, possibly provoking Israel into invading Gaza. The Palestinian Aquafire is so badly contaminated that the UN has basically stated that within two years, Gaza will be forced to import water. Within any given circumstances, Palestine is bound to be wiped out before the end of the decade.
Fucking predicting things like magic~ Why can we not all just get along?
This is what we've been waiting for, this is it boys, this is war!
does someone have a stream of better quality than the aljazeera one? [editline]17th July 2014[/editline] also I thought I heard a kid crying on it, but it turned out to be roosters quite soon after.
I'm looking at Fox's stream of the Gaza skyline and I see nothing military related.
requires you to sign up with an account (US ISP related) of sorts though...
Any news about the actual ground part? All I've seen are air strikes. Do we know if they have soldiers and tanks in Gaza?
This is what we've been waiting for, this is it boys, this is war!
did you seriously copy your post in the other thread and put it here
This is just not a good day for the east thirtieth parallel.
But that makes it sound as is Israel even cares about the general population of Gaza
They probably care more then Hamas does.
http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/2axmvl/iama_palestinian_citizen_living_in_gaza_ama/ I know it's a reddit AMA but it gives some interesting insights about how Palestinians on the ground actually feel about all of this this in particular
Ask people in the Gazan Street, tell them Hamas or Fatah( which do you prefer)? he will tell you Yahud (Jews). That is 50% of the population.
As much as Israel gets shit on for their silly actions, I believe they are doing the right thing here. Hamas has ignored cease-fires and Israel is seemingly out of options. I feel like a ground invasion is the only sure way to minimize civilian casualties because Hamas are known for hiding behind the innocent. It's heartbreaking to see women and children killed, but how is it entirely Israels fault? Hamas wants them destroyed and to do so they use women and children as shields and basically cry wolf when they are killed. The whole situation is fucked but I didn't see any other way this would pan out besides a ground war, to ensure minimal civilian deaths.
A ground attack is still going to cause a fuck ton of civilian casualties either way.
The more you try to end things quickly, the more you're gonna end up with civilian casualties. Even then I don't really see any ways Israel could attack them without causing civilian casualties.

Just heard an explosion that sounded like a slide-whistle followed by a nuclear blast wave.
A ground attack is still going to cause a fuck ton of civilian casualties either way.
I believe the last time Israel did a ground invasion like this 1,300 Palestinians died.

It's a direct escalation that will increase deaths and further muddy the water between civilian/combatant.
Israeli generals are very PR conscious. This is the perfect timing to invade. Media is already occupied with Ukraine.
HA! HAHA Nope. Stop right there. Don't even post another word. It is practically common fucking knowledge that Israel doesn't give two donkey shits about PR. They could slaughter the Palestinians and get away with it because they know any criticism levied at them gets chalked up as "Antisemitism" and the Big Bald Eagle will continue backing them.
The current Ukraine situation might have had an effect on Israel's decision to invade. Israel would have at least thought about this as positive thing for their reputation. Not a negative. That said. Israel had enough reasons to invade anyway - but maybe in a less spectacular fashion.

God help all those caught up in this mess
" *megaphone* GAZA! We have you surrounded! Drop your weapons and come out with your hands up! */megaphone*"
Alright, so the Fox stream has a paywall and the MSNBC stream has. . . well, weather. Anything else?
The purpose of the operation was to destroy the Gazan terror tunnels
that sounds terrifying enough jokes aside, this sounds terrifying
