No shit, but you obviously shoved in your thoughts about 911. Your point could've been made without throwing that in.
No, he does have a point with the 9/11 thing.
Makarov kinda tricks the Russians into attacking America, I'm completely sure that Russians are the only good guys in a sense that even [sp]TF 141 does something that is controversial against America[/sp]

I don't remember that. Which part? [sp]You talking about when Price sets off the EMP from the sub?[/sp]
I was honestly confused about that part. Didn't get it. I think i need to play through it another time.
Just like i said in this post http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=18398797&postcount=44
It was matter of time.
How could IW get out of this?
Well, if MW3 (or that second DLC, who knows) will be, it should have some missions of russian loyalists fighting agaist UltraN in those five years [sp](soo we can see drama of losing country from soldier's eyes)[/sp], either show some action by Russian forces in times of MW2...
or atleats add normal russians to mp...
(i still wonder why Ultranationalists use hammer and scissor... )
Thought i will never forgive Infinity ward for some illogical stuff ([sp]LACK OF ANY TANKS IN FUCKING INVASION OPERATION)[/sp] i still enjoyed MW2 and hope in less cranberry future of franchise.

[sp]Price sets off the EMP to get the Spetznaz stuck in DC while the US can reinforce themselves, at least that's the logic Price follows[/sp]
[sp]Price sets off the EMP to get the Spetznaz stuck in DC while the US can reinforce themselves, at least that's the logic Price follows[/sp]
Oh, alright. I see now. Thanks for that. :]

[sp]those were just paratroopers.
Spetcnaz = Special Ops... you can't have army of SpecOps. [/sp]

I surprisingly agree with this, games are too centered towards American and British Audiences.
Plus the whole Russia vs. US thing for games is getting as old as US WWII games.
This is pretty funny that somebody made a video game about Americans and Russians going to war, when Russia thinks we're going to declare war with them for some reason.
You don't see Germany banning every WWII game ever made do you?
They banned wolfenstein

What makes you think that?
"Remember, no Russian."
Suddenly this sentence has a whole new meaning.
Well looks like No Russian has a new meaning.
16 Hours late to the punch for that one.
Racist post of the day.
Who didn't see this coming? Seriously. Not all countries are as tolerant as the US when it comes to content in video games. And it makes sense that the country portrayed as the "terrorists" (even though it's not really Russia you're at war with, I believe? Just Makarov and his men whose goal is to get Russia and America to fight with each other, hence, the airport scene) are going to be offended. There's not much you can do about it.
North Koreans = / = Race.
Hmm... Maybe the level where you kill all the Russian civilians in the airport?
But they aren't fucking portraying all Russians as terrorists. It just so happens that these particular terrorists are Russians.
I honestly wouldn't give two shits if someone made a game with Australian terrorists in an Australian airport killing Australian civilians.

Apparently quite a lot of russians DO care
The russians aren't losing anything great.
WHAT!
What is with countries freaking out about a video game, first its Australia with L4D2 and now its Russia and MW2.
What's next Italy and Assassins Creed 2.
Glad to not live in Russia.
World in Conflict you played as Americans against Russians...
Yeah, but if you play Multiplayer a lot you see no paticular conflict between the two.
I don't play singleplayer much though.
To be honest, when another country comes out with a game where americans get a real bad rep, you can be sure it will never come out in the US.
Understandable.
Looks at it from russia's perspective, their population has been steadly decreasing, and the last thing they need is the biggest game of the year sold in almost every country showing russia and russian people to be evil/terrorists
An American company caters to Americans? Oh jesus christ, let's riot! I get what they're saying, though. Nobody likes being called the bad guy.
Leave Russia alone :(
I can understand why they feel that way, I mean you guys don't see a video game portraying the fall of the World Trade Center, or getting massively attacked by terrorists, killing a hell of a lot people. and than going off to war in the middle east. Is there?

Battlefield 3: 2003?
There are absolutely no terrorists in or from Russia.
Absolutely not. Never have been, never will be.
Not in science fiction or even in your dreams.
NEVER
[editline]07:59PM[/editline]
Especially not in even your wildest of dreams. Oh, no, we'll have none of that.
[editline]editline[/editline]
Nor in your nightmares, your private daily thoughts, your conversations with your pets, self, and friends and not written on paper, of course.
It is all in your imagination. Oh, wait, no it isn't. Imagining such filthy thoughts is against the law.

anytime i hear about stories like this, im glad that i live in america, i don't think they'd ever BAN a game.
maybe demonize it, but i dont think they could get a game banned...
They were actually pissed off because the plotline of the game made them look like a posse of retarded ass clowns. Or that's how I imagine it, given how half the plot hinges on them being incapable of putting 2 and 2 together.
