If they really wanted to, they could have faked a picture an released it by now. Wouldn't have really been hard. /b/ did it in a couple of hours. So it's not like that would really convince anybody who's crazy enough to think it's some fucking conspiracy.
If Osama were alive, he would have sent a video to the media already. So he's either dead or close to it.

He may yet be alive and being held secretly by the CIA - but if that's the case, he'll be dead soon anyway and it doesn't matter to anyone but his followers.

Pretty sure that if any possibility exists that he's still alive, he's been taken. Because if he hasn't been taken and is alive, as has been said, he'd have released a video already.

No, he doesn't have any advantage right now. Yes we're on high alert. But that will calm down eventually, he's been in hiding 10 years, you really think he won't wait a little longer if he has the opportunity set up in full like this?
