I remember NASA said something about nuking one of these things. They said it would help if the bomb was strong enough to blow it apart, but it would still cause a lot of damage because of all the pieces flying towards the earth.

Aren't some of the Mayan descendents of today angry that everyone is taking what their ancestors predicted and twisting it? I don't remember where I heard this, but they're claiming that everyone is wrong about 2012.
