• Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos goes on Real Time With Bill Maher, gets told 'go fuck yourself'

This video is embarrassing and it really, really reinforced my opinion about Milo's entire shtick. Milo goes out and blatantly calls everyone in the room unintelligent idiots after essentially implying that all trans people are bathroom child rapists, and then tries to victimize himself by saying that the mean evil leftists are being mean to him. If you're going to run out and throw punches, learn to take a hit. You can't just run out and insult people and then claim you're a victim when people insult you back. It's sort of the opposite of the worldview people like Milo are trying to push. "Everyone who is offended needs to nut up and stop bitching! Except us, it's white genocide and we're being bullied by the left, that's why Trump won, checkmate libtards."

Is there an article I missed? Where did he claim to be a victim?
Ok, maybe you didn't understand my post then. Let me clarify. I was referring to the fact that every time Milo is speaking at a university, there are protests trying to shut it down simply because they don't like what is being said. By drawing these protesters out, Milo is exposing the fact that there is a large number of people who want to silence dissenting opinions. The violence part has to do with the latest event he held, in which protesters turned violent and started assaulting Milo fans and breaking property
Not liking what he says is, an understatement. The thing about Milo is that he doesn't spend his time trying g to be constructive. There are protests because he is such a vile and hateful person to the point where some of the shit he says is bullying and on the same line as hate speech.

Where did he claim to be a victim?
Eh, fair, in the video he appeared to take it pretty well, but his reaction to a point being pressed and argued by Wilmore about the social acceptability of homosexuality was "hey bill stop inviting idiots invite higher IQ people!" He literally says Wilmore is "being obtuse" for even trying to argue the point. He never makes a good point. It's intentional, too. He baits them to insult him directly by just being aggravating and dismissive and refusing to address anything they say, which drives his narrative of the "regressive left" and the left censoring and oppressing different opinions. It isn't true - it's just a narrative he's trying to build by intentionally aggravating people and refusing to address the actual points of discussion. He doesn't give a shit about discussing anything, he just wants to make himself appear a victim of "leftist abuse" so that his narrative can be pushed. It's embarrassing that people actually think he's a good debater or that he ever makes solid points - he's a provocateur and nothing more. He's the same type of outrage "journalist" that you saw from Gawker, just on the "other side." Not a big surprise both Gawker and Breitbart both suffer from consumer activist campaigns against their ability to advertise - they're both the same horseshit.
I'm surprised there isn't a milo porn parody yet. He's a super campy gay dude who sucks up to rich old men and fat, burly bigots. The porn writes itself. It doesn't even need a story, that's already a scenario that works Someone want to put their faces on this? Epic!!!
except he didn't really cuck shit, he broke down and told him to fuck off. Epic!!!
Is there anyone in the world whose opinion has ever been swayed by these dime a dozen "LOL I'LL SAY EPIC AT THE END FOR MAXIMUM SARCASM!" posts? It's just going through the motions day after day after day. Low effort posts will be the death of us all. I can't even muster the energy to refute this post, it's just not worth it anymore

So long as there are people at the places he speaks who want to listen to him, willing to invite and host the event, he should be allowed his platform.
He thinks trans women are the problem because they're gonna go into women's bathrooms and molest kids (which has never been shown to happen) and yet he's the fuckin pedo lol

He does a hell of a lot more deplorable shit than just say things people disagree with. I don't think you know enough about him or what he does to be arguing his corner, you're just being contrarian. No one even said 'dissenting opinion should be quashed with violence' - you came into this thread and started strawmanning.

[editline]20th February 2017[/editline] I don't like these sites either, but like I said, I don't really agree with most of Milo's views. I just think that he should still be allowed to voice them.
AFAIK he was actually planning to out various illegal immigrants in his talk at Berkeley so I think that is why the protests got a little extreme http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/uc-berkely-protests-milo-yiannopoulos-publicly-name-undocumented-students-cancelled-talk-illegals-a7561321.html
except he didn't really cuck shit
??? what does this even mean ???
Man, I never watched it but I can see why Larry Wilmore doesn't have his own show anymore.

The only "evidence" is a few university officials who said as much. There's no actual evidence that it was going to happen. He "outed" a specific trans student as the source of a court case, that's it.
Man, I never watched it but I can see why Larry Wilmore doesn't have his own show anymore.
Eh it was more that he struggled with the direction of the show. he never quite found his niche amongst colbert, samantha bee, trevor noah, john oliver, and seth meyers.
roflmao, wrong as hell. Wilmore was literally handed the best timeslot outside of South Park, and couldn't generate ratings. He couldn't generate ratings because his show wasn't funny. At all. It consisted of a monolog about how white men ruined everything forever, then a skit about how white men ruined everything forever, then Larry and four other people talking about how white men ruined everything forever. There was no humor. None. I don't give a fuck whether he offended anybody or not, but I do expect to laugh at a show on comedy central. There was no laughing. It was just a half hour of "the white race fucked it up for everybody, all the time, forever." If Eddy Murphy, at the time the most popular comedian on Planet Earth can utterly bomb and almost destroy his entire career with Raw despite advanced sales and first week of 50 million bucks by essentially shitting on women for an hour and a half, not really hard to see why yelling at a single ethnicity over and over every day every week without actual context or humor is going to get old as fuck very very fast. And it did.

If it isnt funny then it isnt worth jack.

The format was really weird for a half hour show, I felt like they never got anywhere interesting in the panel discussions due to a lack of time.
Left-Leaning News/Political Commentary with a comedic spin is the niche, though.
A niche within a niche since there are 5 other comedians/hosts doing the same job. or 6, if you include bill maher
Yep, theres certainly no dearth of comedians trying to do that format. I'd def include Bill Maher, I'm sure I'm biased due to the left-leaning premise but he's the only one I'd consider funny. Maybe Colbert but I haven't paid attention to him in years. I watched Trevor Noah's show once and I hated it.
Trevor Noah is better than he was last year but Colbert and Samantha Bee are killing it.
Other than that interview he did with Rand Paul I watched one of his shows in January, neither very impressive. I realize I'm not their audience so I'm not gonna find them funny, so I won't bother complaining that I don't agree with them.
