Since when have politicians told the truth? When they're not lying, they're also not telling the full truth. It seems highly cynical, but that's just the way things are in this world.
I daresay that half of the promises at election time ~3.5 years ago have had to have been [i]reassessed[/i] but hey, at least we apologised to the Aborigines so we can all stop feeling bad about that.
