Expand, mostly.
So T-Mobile doesn't have truly unlimited 4G LTE data?
Not typically, but they also don't go "Gotcha!" and either cut off your internet service completely or charge you absurd fees for going over. They just limit you to snail-speeds when you go over your limit, though there are quite a few services that are exempt from data consumption limits, I personally use tons of Spotify over mobile without it impacting my data at all.
They might have an unlimited plan but I haven't really looked into it because I rarely go past my 2GB limit since it's not my primary internet provider.

They do. I go through ~200gb a month with 4G LTE.

Any issues with throttling or anything?

That's the only reason I'm still on my grandfathered unlimited data plan on Verizon because they never throttle me no matter how much I use.
Well, good job I switched to Project Fi a month ago today... :saxout:

Nah. I have noticed that they slightly throttle my speed for like the last 12 hours of the billing cycle but as soon as I authorize them to charge my card it stops.
Verizon on the other hand would throttle me down to 56kb/s if I hit ~90gb. Tho to be fair that was 2-3 years ago so I dunno how they operate now.
sucks that the place i moved to doesn't have lte coverage
Tmobile has free internet-to-LTE converters which use your internet to move LTE around
plug in and use
Boy I wish I had T-Mobile reception here.
just did it with my family, we all got warcraft movie tickets
time to go see it for free.
we also got a med 2 topping pizza from dominos and free small frosty from wendys because they dont involve spinning the wheel to get them. living the american dream of diabetes
The issue with T-Mobile has always been reception issues, they've done things like this in the past to help make up for it.
I haven't gone coast to coast, though i have basically gone boarder to boarder, as well as all along the east coast. . T-Mobile has somewhat spotty coverage, I wouldn't trust it if you traveled a lot.
Anybody else having issues with the app? I'm guessing it's high traffic causing it. Can't get any of the offers to load and overall the app is very slow to respond

They had some issues earlier with server load, looks all fixed now

T-Mobile has "network deprioritization" after 21gb. Same thing as AT&T's but it's at 22gb. Just basically means if the tower is under heavy load you'll be slowed first. A couple months ago I finally got of my very similar Verizon plan paying the same amount to an unlimited AT&T plan and it's great. Now it's $180 for 4 lines with unlimited talk/text/data vs the 2 lines sharing 700 minutes, unlimited on one line and 2gb data on the other for $180/month.
Nearly everyone I know who has started a conversation about how bad their service is has been T-Mobile. It's come to the point where I just guess and almost always get it right. I hear people have no problems with it so maybe it's just a regional thing and they don't care so much about central Florida.
Personally I gave up after about a year of decent service after having two calls to 911 drop within line of sight of a cell tower, just outside of Tampa.

Central Floridian here, and my friend with T-Mobile has great service in the south Orlando area down towards Melbourne. Mild spottiness through the ranch areas, but anywhere near civilization is great.

It all depends on where you're at. If you're in their strong service area, it's great. For me there's one t-mobile tower in a 50 mile radius of my house...so...
I switched to Ting when I got a Oneplus, but I used T-Mobile for a while on my cheap ass Nokia lumia and never had an issue with them. But my average monthly bill is $16 now with no change in quality, can't really beat that for service
