Has he tried Portugal? [editline]3rd July 2013[/editline] You're an imbecile.
because supporting a guy that leaks information that will potentiality aid terrorists is a great idea. I still say send his ass to the firing squad.

Didn't Bolivia grant him Asylum?
Hopefully this guy gets whats coming to him for his treason.
You have no fucking idea in the slightest you are talking about. The US government bent its people over a table and fucked them in the ass. Snowden exposed that little fact.
treason is still treason no matter how you put it he leaked classified documents, and stole government property.
He has NOT put any American lives in danger, he didn't fucking leak B2 Bomber blueprints to the public. This was not a "SPOOKY BLACK OPS" program. The US gov. neglected to tell the American people that they were expanding the project. Your arrogance shocks me.
Hopefully this guy gets whats coming to him for his treason.
hope you get what's coming to you for blindly kissing the government's ass. they certainly aren't the people who will save you.
of course the government spies on people every government does that thats pretty damn obvious only a idiot would not see that. Im simply saying is this guy is just a typical 15minutes of fame person wanting the attention of the world, and in a few months time no one is going to remember this guy. for his act of "heroism".
because supporting a guy that leaks information that will potentiality aid terrorists is a great idea. I still say send his ass to the firing squad.
How the fuck is it going to aid terrorists? Terrorists are not dumb they are fully aware the US government spies on them, them knowing this fact for sure isn't going to change a thing. There's many things that could be wrong with what Snowden did but you are just spouting bullshit.
You have no fucking idea in the slightest you are talking about. The US government bent its people over a table and fucked them in the ass. Snowden exposed that little fact.
Snowden exposed a program with decades of legal precedent, nothing about PRISM is new or unheard of. It's good that people are now paying attention to what the government is doing but there really isn't any scandal here to people who follow this stuff. Don't be so quick to tell other people they have no idea what they're talking about, when the experts in the field are nearly unanimous in disagreeing with you.
How the fuck is it going to aid terrorists? Terrorists are not dumb they are fully aware the US government spies on them, them knowing this fact for sure isn't going to change a thing. There's many things that could be wrong with what Snowden did but you are just spouting bullshit.
PRISM was designed to catch the dumb terrorists, who absolutely exist. It doesn't take a genius to build a bomb out of a pressure cooker. Revealing not only the existence of surveillance but also the specific implementation and media compromises the effectiveness of such programs. There are already reports about groups like Al-Qaeda now avoiding protocols that they thought were secure but were detailed in the PRISM documents. [editline]3rd July 2013[/editline]
He has NOT put any American lives in danger
If PRISM was at all effective in its intended role of preventing terrorism, then compromising it has put American lives in danger. There's no way around that.
I dont understand why any country should fear america for holding onto snowden, yes. The USA has a great military force, but I doubt they would deploy it to just get this one person who revealed some uncomfortable secrets.
The problem here is PRISM is clandestine in nature. Nobody supports the kind of shit the government is running.

Military force is not the primary method of resolving conflicts in the modern age, diplomacy is.
The problem here is PRISM is clandestine in nature. Nobody supports the kind of shit the government is running.
Hate to break it to you but nearly everything related to the intelligence community is clandestine in nature and there are lots of people who support this kind of thing. Take a look on any forum that isn't so overwhelmingly young and liberal as Facepunch and you'll find plenty of examples.
