the reason the truck was seemingly unaffected is because the car is so small it went under the truck rather than hitting it head on, therefore getting crushed.

While the truck looks relatively unharmed on the front, it looks like its suspension and front wheels might have gotten fucked from that collision. The white car sort of ran into the wheels of the thing.
