Picture of the guy that got injured:
Fuck. Poor guy. Hope he gets better soon.
I guess I'm the only American who felt sad upon reading the thread title and relieved upon hearing that nobody died. Red Arrows and Blue Angels are both awesome. Blue Angels and Red Arrows should perform together. That would be so awesome.
Yeah, both are great to watch. They where at the Quebec international air show in 2008 along with the Snowbirds and Thunderbirds.
My posts carry more weight than yours. :smug: [editline]04:34PM[/editline] The true Americans are too busy putting Brits in their place.
Every aerobatic team is comprised of the world's best pilots. They put hours and hours into training for the maneuvers they do. Getting within 20 feet of another aircraft and holding it there is spectacular, period. Every team makes it look easy. There's no better. I respect every single one of them equally.

this is a fun thread :) er.. I mean... fuck america!
I don't watch stunt shows anymore after I saw that thing that happened in Ukraine.
I dread to think of how much it'll cost to recover and repair or just replace the plane.
I dread to think of how much it'll cost to recover and repair or just replace the plane.
Planes that go down uncontrolled mid-air aren't recovered and repaired. Their pieces are picked up, sorted, and tossed in a junk pile for later melting down.
Yeah, because we prefer to use our combat aircraft for combat. Not that you Yanks would know anything about combat.
The Hawk IS a combat aircraft. Just a shitty one. [editline]10:21PM[/editline] You should at least put your guys in Eurofighters.
Yeah, because we prefer to use our combat aircraft for combat. Not that you Yanks would know anything about combat. Also, Red > Blue. Blue is for pussies.
I'm sorry, what?
The Hawk IS a combat aircraft. Just a shitty one. [editline]10:21PM[/editline] You should at least put your guys in Eurofighters.
Plus we've got the best damn airforce out there. We have combat jets out the ass. We have such an enormous surplus of air superiority that we actively seek accidents just to thin the herd.
The British RAF is fucking childs play compared to our Airforce. :fsmug:
The British RAF is fucking childs play compared to our Airforce. :fsmug:
Ah'bout a nice cuppa 'en?
Yes the English equivalent to America's Blue Angels.
I saw the Blue Angels once, amazing to say the least
The Hawk IS a combat aircraft. Just a shitty one. [editline]10:21PM[/editline] You should at least put your guys in Eurofighters.
I don't think eurofighter is enough, they should be gold plated and encrusted with diamonds
I don't think eurofighter is enough, they should be gold plated and encrusted with diamonds
And have monocles covering their external video devices.
Plus we've got the best damn airforce out there. We have combat jets out the ass.
lol read the rest you thick cunt.
look who's fucking talking
Remember your roots boy.
nobody who's sane gives a crap where you're from
lol nationalists
Last i heard American people were too obese to fit in planes..
Must be hard for Brit pilots to put their helmets on with those teeth jutting into the mask. See? Americans can stereotype to. I feel bad for the guy who had to eject, always sucks to lose a plane.
So basically they're a knockoff.
Only the Red Arrows were capable of picking an aircraft actually suited to the sport.
The Hawk IS a combat aircraft.
It's an advanced trainer. The Gnat, which they used prior to the Hawk, was briefly a fighter aircraft but primarily a trainer too.
LOL
LOLOLOL UMG U SO FUNY LOLOLOL.. xD
The Hawk IS a combat aircraft. Just a shitty one.
Funny, because you called it just a training aircraft. Make up your mind.
I have lost all respect for Lankist for reading this thread :saddowns:
I have lost all respect for Lankist for reading this thread :saddowns:
You know people post this "I have lost all respect for Lankist" in about every thread I ever post in. See, I'm consistent. It makes me wonder what kind of fictional character you were respecting in the first place, because clearly it wasn't me. How long does it take you guys to figure out that I fuck with people.
I have lost all respect for Lankist for reading this thread :saddowns:
He lost my respect a long time ago. TH89 is quickly following suite, although I doubt he cares.
Funny, because you called it just a training aircraft. Make up your mind.
It's a combat plane that's used as a training airplane because it's so cheap and useless.
The Hawk is used by the Royal Air Force, and other air forces, as either a trainer or a low-cost combat aircraft.
The Red Arrows aren't skilled enough to be trusted with real planes.
The Red Arrows aren't skilled enough to be trusted with real planes.
More proof that the Blue Angels are superior.
It's a combat plane that's used as a training airplane because it's so cheap and useless.
No... It got relegated to training because it got superseded. Just like many other types of aircraft are when more capable forms of aircraft come along. It might be cheap and useless compared to, say, the Eurofighter. However, that doesn't make it cheap and useless, full stop. And as I said, we prefer to use our more capable aircraft for actual combat. It makes more sense. :downs:
The Red Arrows aren't skilled enough to be trusted with real planes.
Yes, of course they don't use real aircraft. Oh wait, yes they do. Hence why they fly.
