So how do we know those are yes votes. Shit for all we could know this could be some office camera of a woman shredding some papers.
It's not a shredder, it's a bin that every office has as standard, it's the bin you put spoiled votes into. This might look normal, had her friend not been oh so no conspicuously blocking the view. Stop dreaming, my votes been fucked with, this is not even past 12 hours and ive seen 3 videos.
What about a few hundred?
Sure, why not, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt but "No" would still win if it's just a few hundreds and conspiring about any illegal things they committed on Facepunch won't give the proper authorities the need to investigate it.
If there's even a chance it was swayed, it needs a recount, a recount with MACHINES prefferably
I'm sorry but did you not see that woman pick up a handfull of yes votes and put it into the no pile? Did you not just see that? It happened. She needs to be arrested.
They were never going to allow a full recount in the first place no matter how it went.

You're extraordinary.
What about a few hundred?
Wouldn't change the result, hon. If ya wanna be mad at anything, be mad at the BBC for an unbalanced coverage of the campaigns leading up to the election. They, as a national public-service channel, have a duty to provide an even, balanced representation of both sides leading up to a democratic election. At least, they do under Danish law, it'd surprise me quite a bit if it's different in Britain.
I'm not starting a facepunch revolution, I'm spreading the shitfest that is my facebook homepage at the moment, everyones going apeshit.

You need to calm the fuck down. Pronto
I'm not starting a facepunch revolution, I'm spreading the shitfest that is my facebook homepage at the moment, everyones going apeshit.
And you have to go apeshit, as well? Real smart, yo

Maybe they were holding some spoiled votes in a pile elsewhere and where moving them over to the bin?
Also It looks more like the person has a headache than is hiding something, if they are trying to obscure the view, they are doing a horrible job at it, especially with putting the pile on that chair over there.

What the hell is shedding votes. I seriously looked that up and have not been able to figure it out.

Didn't know 13 year olds could vote on such important things in scotland.
I'm not starting a facepunch revolution, I'm spreading the shitfest that is my facebook homepage at the moment, everyones going apeshit.
Going apeshit implies that someone or a group of people are incoherently arguing without logic or reasoning so their opinion is insignificant.

:tinfoil:
What's done is done, and there's nothing more you can do about it. As for me, I feel that if there was any real evidence to rigging or the like, it should come out from other sources or as a statement, and in such a way that there can be no doubt that rigging might have occurred. Until we see something like that, people will be skeptical if you post short videos showing how 'my votes were messed with.'
Just admit that the people of Scotland didn't think it was time yet for independence, and that it took place in a democratic setup. This is how democracy 101 works - everybody has a stake in the decision, and the decision of the majority, no matter how unpalatable, has to be accepted unless you're willing to contest it a second time at another point.

Nobody gives a shit that you and your friends are sour because no won.

Someone is getting heated.
I understand people are disappointed but you don't need to go out of your way to nitpick a excuse to call the vote a fraud.
If anything, it just reflect upon yourselves badly.

Your vote more than likely got counted. It wasnt even close with a almost full 10% loss. If voter fraud was true than that would be probably the most rigged election in democratic history (not counting russia, china, north korea, and some of the middle east).
The silent majority proves that democracy still works
I'm a little disappointed but hey, I'm not really in a position to make these decisions. I hope it works out for you guys over there.

this is fake you dolt. i saw the exact same video pertaining to both elections in Russia and the US. Scotland spoke get over it. Long live GB.
What was gonna be the difference anyway?
Faunze is the famous 'heart thinking' Yes-Voter of this campaign.
What was gonna be the difference anyway?
...Scotland would leave the UK?
That's a pretty big difference.
What was gonna be the difference anyway?
Scotland was gonna fuck itself over but didn't, the end.
I can't tell any alternatives, but i can tell you that it was a shitty method of choosing if Scotland should be independent or not. There are still 1,539,920 people who wants Scotland to be independent. I dont think it is gonna sit well with them.

Well they are just going to have to deal with it.

That would happen either way, no matter what method was chosen. Some large population would still be unhappy. It's far better to have a vote and leave the country peacefully than with violence.

And here is democracy's failing. How can the power of the people be represented if almost half of the country are not being represented? Just because more people want something doesn't meant they're right. To be clear I do think the no vote was the better decision. I'm just pointing out that almost half of Scotland disagrees with me and will get nothing for that.

and what of the around 2 million who voted no?

You're not William Wallace mate.
In fact I'm going to be down to earth and most likely insult some Scot FP'ers in the process, so apologies in advance.
Do you know why America was one of the most Successful Independence stories of History? Because we weren't just some country in Europe that everyone had known about for hundreds of years, we were a collection of Thirteen colonies in the "New World". A whole continent that no one new of what lay within, a veritable treasure trove of resources and land!
And we are a powerful nation because we weren't afraid to expand Westward, and develop on these resources; Oil in Texas, vast fields in the Middle West for food, gold on the west coast, A mother fucking gangster turning a spot of desert in the middle of fuck all nowhere, into a glowing neon Jewel of sin that shines bright in the desert. We have survived a Civil War that killed friends and brothers, A Great War that tore Europe asunder, A Depression garnished by Prohibition and Gangsters, a World War that ended with us developing the mother of all weapons, Half a century's worth of tension against another power that, if provoked, would have spelt Atomic Doomsday for the entire planet, and a cowardly Terrorist attack on New York, to become the First World powerful nation that we are today.
What does Scotland have to support it's Independence? Does it have Oil field near Loch Ness? Is there Gold in a river by some sheep flocks? Besides 500 Miles, Kilts, Bagpipes, Heroin, and other stereotypes that everyone has known, what does Scotland truly have that can make it a reasonable country on the world stage?
As far as I know, nothing. Scotland leave the UK and it might just have become the world's very first third world nation that isn't colored (that I know of :v:).
Independence is really only meant for those that have something to support a new Government and can grow it's Economy in a reasonable period of time, as well as develop a defense force.

Isn't this how life is in general? You literally cannot please everyone, so usually it's the majority that gets the rights.
