Buying minecraft during alpha is a stupid mistake? You might hate it, but there are plenty of people (including me) who bought minecraft early and genuinely enjoy it still.
I hope only the name is the joke, not the whole thing.
For those of you who are too lazy to read Notch's tweets last week, the space game concept is real. The name and websites are of course a joke but Notch has been tweeting a lot about the computer system he designed as well as a few screenshots and ideas about the game.
