Yeah no thanks, not for 60 bucks. I'll wait for a deal then, got no problem with waiting for that.
Dead space was amusing, but yeah totally not sixty bucks of amusement.
Don't get me wrong, if someone produces a game with 60 dollars worth of development behind it, I'll gladly pay the price, but this is barely worth 35, much less 60.
Note that when I say "worth of development" I don't mean in money spent, but rather in the quality of the game mechanics and the thought and creativeness put into the design. Such games are few and far between.
Really $60 for a PC game? Seriously EA stop this shit
$60, bad move EA.
They're doing that for ME3, DA2, Crysis 2, and most likely BF3 so it sort of sucks. At least most other companies are avoiding that.

Buy Dead Space 2, get Ser Isaac of Clarke's armor.
I'll buy it on my Ps3 I think.

Dragon Age 2
Dunno if this is worth it.. Is it REALLY amazing?
I thought Riddick was so cool when I got it last week on sale. But I stopped playing it in a day..
Don't get me wrong, it is a cool game but I can't get hooked on any RPG games anymore..
What the fuck? None of those are even close to RPGs
Wasn't half the point of Steam to allow nearly all the profit to go to developers, without worrying about packaging and printing discs, thus making it cheaper for consumers and more profitable for developers?
I guess fuck that huh? Let's make the digital download version that we have an infinite supply of $60, and have a shitload of other places that produce physical copies sell it for far less, thus making sure our supply is lower than demand on the phyiscal side, and the side which we have an infinite amount of copies for we completely fuck demand in the rear.
Economics, people.
Sadly it isn't Steam that establishes the prices, but the publishers.
FUCKING GREEDY PUBLISHERS! They are almost as bad as record labels. Seriously this is pure bullshit, the PC version gets little to no support, yet they charge us full price on a digital copy?
Fuck you publishers.
The joke is that this will probably just be a half-assed port and the reason console games cost $10 is mostly licensing so basically they're forcing us to pay $10 more for a game that's not even made with that much quality in mind.
Really on the fence about this one :S
What the fuck? None of those are even close to RPGs
I meant like campaign stuff.
sssoooo for just $10 more you get a bunch of really cool shit. or you could just have it digitally?
i think i'll just get the collector's edition, comes with said cool shit.
Battlefield is a console game now, I might pick it up though when its $30
uh no idiot the console renditions of Bad Company 2 are consoley because they were developed differently, with the consoles in mind
Ergh $60
I thought this wasn't MW2. What's going on.
EA is getting with the program.
i'm not buying any game that has a price of $60.
i'll wait for sales or, not buying it at all.
50 euros here, my condolences to all you amerifags.
50 euros here, my condolences to all you amerifags.
Condolences? You pay even 7 dollar more. 50 Euros = 67.48 U.S. dollars. Or was that sarcastic?
And here I was getting all sad because I thought it wouldn't come to PC.
The demo wasn't coming to the PC though.

Endless complaining won't help, I've been paying 50 euros for games on steam since....well, since I had to pay with euros on steam!
Besides, don't games usually cost 50 bucks for you? This one's more expensive than usual. We always pay 50 euros for our games (except for CoD obviously).
Paying $60 USD is still better than buying it retail in Australia.

I'm paying in Euro too. Back when MW2 came out the Euro/Dollar thing made it cost like 90 US Dollar when paid in Euro. I got it on launch day from a local store for 30 bucks but I still regret that purchase.

Newer games are 60 bucks, games that have been out for a little while are 50, and a lot older games are 19 or 20.
